This beautiful home in Vermont is a short drive from Montpelier, hiking areas, and other great visitor attractions. It has a front porch, a generous common area with a large kitchen, dining room, and living room, and two bedrooms upstairs available to guests. The home has gorgeous wood detailing and several areas have been recently refreshed with fun vibrant colors. The master bedroom has two generous closets and the guest room has one large closet. The dining room is outfitted with a farmhouse feel.

I love central Vermont, but I work in global health which often takes me away from my home. I love having an opportunity to share what is amazing about this area with other people!

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is walkable to downtown, close to a grocery (Quality Market), drivable to everywhere else including a wonderful hiking/biking/disc golf/skiing/snowmobiling area called Millstone Trails (only 10m down the road), and there is a lot of pet-friendly walkable neighborhood adjacent. Montpelier is 15m up the road; Waterbury is about 30m; and Burlington is 45-50m away. Stowe ski area is about 40m away, and Killington is under an hour. It really is central!

What makes this property unique

My house is a home. I have maintained the original wood interior trim, which is a lovely maple brown color, and added some cheerful color pops. Some of the furniture is reclaimed wood, and some of the decor is from my travels. I like the authentic feel of it - it has personality! The kitchen has a great view of the sunset over the neighboring homes as well.
