The farmhouse was so lovely and charming. It’s quaint and cozy with all the amenities needed to be comfortable. It’s a very old home that has been well cared for by the owners. West Jefferson is close by for dining and shopping and the farm is amazing with friendly animals. Couldn’t have been more perfect.

Our 5th year in a row!
Our title should tell you all you need to know if you are deciding between places to stay. This is the 5th year we've stayed at the cabin and we will be back next year as well! Our 5 year-old daughter has been there every year of her life. The Willinghams think of every detail and are some of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet. The treehouse they offer is just as incredible but in a completely different way. If you have a young child I would recommend the cabin over the treehouse mainly because the cabin has a big yard for games, a sand box underneath the smokehouse studio and the creek runs next to the cabin which can provide some entertainment for kids in the warmer months. Either way though you can't go wrong.
Beautiful property, magical stay.
This is a one-of-a-kind authentic farm experience. The property is breathtaking, filled with beautiful and friendly animals, barns, meadows, and trails that lead through pine forests and up to overlooks with mountain views for miles. The owners are friendly and take great care and pride in their property and their animals, and it shows in every nook and cranny. Such a great opportunity for our family to connect with each other and with nature in a way that’s not easy to find these days. My kids and all of us loved visiting the chickens, hunting for fresh eggs, feeding the horses, goats, and donkeys, and playing with the three beautiful Labradors that came to visit us at the farmhouse every day. I couldn’t recommend it more.
We loved having your beautiful family and appreciate your review! Come see us again soon!!!
We love Little Peak Creek!
I recently brought my 20 year old daughter and my 9 year old niece for a long weekend at The Little Peak Creek farm cabin and it was wonderful!
We all loved feeding apples and carrots (we brought with us) to the horses and goats. The 3 yellow labs (Hank, Ellie and I forget the last one's name) were such a great trio - especially when one or all of them visited us at the cabin! My niece especially loved going up to the newly built barn to see the horses. Lisa and Stephen were super hosts and Lisa took time to talk with us about the farm. Overall, it was just a fantastic weekend for us and we would definitely recommend it for any couple or family for some downtime on the farm! The cabin has everything you would/could need AND Lisa generously provides a basket of tasty samples of her jams, biscuits and bread! YUMMY!
Quaint and peaceful
Beautiful sweeping pastures, charming accommodations, friendly animals and impressive gardens. A fun fall getaway, lots of hiking trails, cozy back porch was nice even during a light evening rain, and a fire in the fire pit the next night. Well-recommended.
There is a winery , a farm implement museum, a Frisbee golf course, 2 golf courses,3 state park locations and a wonderful new library and playground along with many opportunities to experience the arts.
