About the Owner
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Orange house stay
This house is convenient to town & beach. It was clean. Has only a double bed and bunk bed. Well equipped but .....no dishwasher or wi-fi.
Would definitely rent again!
This place is quirky and comfortable. It is located within walking distance to almost everything, pizza, mini mart, shops, beach, etc. And it's priced fair. Loved it.
Needs a good clean
We stayed in the beginning of May at the house. My husband and our two small children.
The pros were that it's just a block away from the beach and the neighborhood is nice. The house had good space and everything you need as far as kitchen supplies. the piano was very fun for the family to play on, great memories for us with that.
The cons were that the place had a really funky smell, we found trash under the bunk beds from previous people, the walls were really dirty, the blankets on the beds smelled bad. There is also a couple things that need fixed for safety, like part of the shower door was broke and could easily cut someone, the floors are really uneven and you trip over all of the ledges. The kitchen table chairs were super dangerous, one of them feels like it's going to break at any minute (they are different table and chairs from in the photos).
All and all, I just think the place needs a good deep clean and some up-keep. Lots of mildew and mold. There was some
Spiders in the room in webs and that can be prevented by just de-webbing.
I won't be staying here again but none the less, we had a good family vacation.
Nice place to stay
We stayed at the Orange Beacon House for my birthday weekend. It's got charm and plenty of space to hang out. My daughter loved playing on the piano. The bed in the master was waaaay too soft, I ended up moving to the futon in the little attached sunroom. You can easily from this house to food, drink, and the beach. It's a cute little place to stay.
You get what you pay for.
This little beach house is located in a good area close to pizza, convenience store, police station and the beach. The house has a mildew type smell to it due to it being an older home and all. Furniture is so so and has very strange decor throughout. Was in need of a deep clean throughout when we stayed in May 2016. Floors in the house are not level so that may annoy some. Was nice to have dishes, paper towels and laundry detergent during our stay. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and have room for the kids, this house is perfect for that. Overall this house is a 5 out of 10 in our opinion. Hope this was helpful to soon to be vacationers.
