About Andres Nazario
My partner and I fell in love with Flagler Beach over 35 years ago, and bought this property in 2003 while we were both teaching in Gainesville, FL. We have been remodeling this five cottage complex over the past several year and have all five units ready for vacation rental now. We have two additional units elsewhere in Flagler Beach. We have been offering vacation rentals in Flagler Beach since 2001. We now live in Miami Springs, and plan to retire in Flagler Beach in the future. I welcome your inquiries through this website, or by phone, or e-mail. I will respond quickly. Although we no longer live close to Flagler Beach, we visit often, and we have a local caretaker who attends to maintenance of the property and to the needs of our guests.

Why Andres Nazario chose Flagler Beach
This cottage is one of five in a village of a duplex and a triplex. It is centrally located with the beach a short half block away; and most restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. This unit is one block from Moody Blvd, the main street in Flagler Beach, and two blocks to the famous Flagler Beach Pier.
What makes this Cottage unique
The most attractive aspect of Flagler Beach is its peacefulness and small beach community charm. There are no franchises on the beach, nor high rises. There are several small local restaurants and cafes with excellent food, a couple of galleries, some nice bars, and a friendly community. Marineland is 10 minutes north, and Daytona Beach is 20 minutes south. Historic St. Augustine is a half-hour drive away, and Orlando and Disney are within an hour's drive. Major airports are within an hour and a half drive. The sunrises are fabulous at this time of the year. The beach is less that a block away. The ocean water temperature is cool this time of the year, and the sun is bright and warm. At night sit and contemplate the constellations and the planets from anywhere, the patio, the beach, or walking around the town! This is an ideal place for moon lovers, and star gazers. Fish from the beach, or from the nearby pier. Bring your own bicycle and enjoy riding around this small community! During the winter months Right Whales may show up at the beach, and dolphins are visible year round. If you are planning a family reunion, a wedding, or any type of small group activity, this location could be ideal reserving the whole compound of four cottages and one studio.

Location, Location, Location!
We had an awsome expereince in Flagler Beach. This cottage was very near to the beach and close to great places to eat, drink and recreate. Very enjoyable patio area, comfortable bed, great kitchen, and lots of TV channels that the kids had fun with. The owner was very attentive, and welcoming. We highly recommend this place.
Cute and great location
Everything was perfect. Great use of a small space.
Hi Debra and James,
Thank you for choosing the Hibiscus Cottage for your vacation. We look forward to your return.
We love Hibiscus Cottage!
We have stayed at Hibiscus Cottage in Flagler Beach, FL several times. And we do love it there. At this point, it feels like "coming home." It's right in the middle of town, you can walk in a minute to bars, restaurants, the pier and the beach. It's roomy for the two of us and our dog. And we love coffee out on the nice patio! Andre is a wonderful and responsive host. In fact, when we mentioned this time that the charcoal grill was kind of worn out, the next day a brand new one appeared. Amazing. What a great guy. We had a wonderful stay and will be back next year. Thanks for everything!
Another Day In Paradise
Our 8 week stay at Hibiscus Casas de la Playa met all of our expectations. The cottage is cozy, clean and comfortably furnished. All basic amenities at your fingertips. Location, location, location! Walk to many shops, restaurants and most important the beach. The owners go over and
above to make your stay pleasant and memorable. Can't wait to go back next season.
We love this Cottage in Flagler Beach!
This very roomy one bedroom cottage in the heart of Flagler Beach is great. Andre, the owner, made sure all our needs were met. There is a nicely landscaped courtyard right outside the door. It is centrally located and we were able to walk to many places: local restaurants, bar and grills, ice cream shops, and gift shops. The Flagler Pier is only two blocks away. My husband even walked to the barber down the street to have his hair cut. It was a 2- minute walk to the beach for me. I ran on the beach almost everyday. Our dogs also loved it. We especially liked the 2-mile Betty Steflik Preserve Trail within walking distance and it is dog friendly. It meanders through marshes of the Intercoastal Waterway and is picturesque with wildlife viewing.
We highly recommend the Hibiscus. It has an old Florida feel with modern amenities and afforded us semi-privacy right in the middle of the historic downtown Flagler Beach. We will be back!
Downtown Flagler rocks!
Great, clean and adorable spot. We stayed with our three young kids for just a couple days over Thanksgiving ....and it worked out perfectly. Being able to walk to so many restaurants (and ice cream shops) made this location a great fit for us. Also, the owner is great with communication....moreso than most...which is a great comfort :)
In the heart of Flagler Beach this complex offers the lively activities of a small beach community downtown. Short driving distances too to Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, and Orlando. A great place for a weekend, a week, or extended stay.
