I grew up in Rome (Italy) till 36 years old and then moved to Milan (Italy) for job reasons. I'm actually working for a global marketing/communication group. During my high school time I spent a year in Clackamas (Oregon - USA) living in a great family.
Why Nicola chose Amelia
This country farm was bought twenty five years ago by my parents who live here managing the agricultural activities of the farm. My brother and I spent most of our youth here and we now have the opportunity to make our kids love the beauty of this place.

The closest and most famous town is Amelia.
Amelia, formerly known by the name of Ameria, is a hill town in the province of Terni, ancient origins, evidenced by the monumental polygonal walls (V-IV century BC), which, together with the Roman and medieval enclose a country rich in history and splendor. Walking along the narrow streets, you can admire Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, corners who discover breathtaking views and the city museum, which among other findings holds the famous statue of Germanicus. Of note, the traditional local cuisine, with its fine meats, cheeses and game.
Amelia is located in a strategic position, and is a good starting point for visiting the many Umbrian towns of great historical, cultural and religious; also is less than 20 km from Orte Station, from where, in just 40 minutes, with comfortable regional trains you to the city of Rome.
