The ''Mango'' house is located at a cool elevation and just 2 miles from Kahaluu beach park for snorkeling and 10 minutes from Historic Kona Town! All the creature comforts are available in this very comfortable 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom gem. It is a triplex and my girlfriend and I live upstairs and we have the 1 bedroom and the studio on the first floor. We are very quiet and take pride of ownership for our guests. PRESTIGIOUS NEIGHBORHOOD.
We also have fruits and veggies when in season! Beach chairs, coolers,beach towels, 2 boogy boards, snorkel gear and flashlights for a volcano run are available here for you. Unit is 10 feet from your parking space and no stairs. One stair in unit and one stair from bedroom to patio.FREE INTERNET- We have either wireless or hardwire internet connections.
Please use a compact or midsize car for our parking space. Vans are not the best option....

The reason we bought this house was the location just 3 miles up from kona town and the ocean view. All of our neighbors share the 'Aloha Spirit!' with us and our guests...
This unit faces east/west and gets the daytime west winds and the cool nightime east winds for peaceful sleeping...-No A/C needed because of our 600 foot elevation...... 3 ceiling fans for ventilation anyway...Feel the natural breezes here! Usually it is sunny in the daytime and then towards sunset time we may get a nice, cool shower or two and then the next morning is usually nice and sunny....Kona weather is very comfortable-

We have lived all over Kona and this area is the nicest location in proximity to Kona (3 miles) plus 600 ft elevation, plus a great place for walks.....
This 1 bedroom was a perfect location for me since I am doing work on my home here in kona. The unit has all the amenities a traveler would need including a flashlight and snorket gear-
Lots of brochures, etc.
I liked the large 42 inch vizeo hd tv too with premium movie channels and sports-The best value in kona in my opinion-
This place could be easily priced at $100 a night but it is much less...
We were visiting the big island for our honeymoon. We stayed in this house for a week and loved it. The hosts Henry and his girlfriend were so friendly and helpful. They provided snorkel gear, beach chairs, a cooler and even travel guides and suggested some places to go see and eat at. They even gave us fresh Papaya to snack on! The house was very clean and fully stocked. The master bedroom was very spacious. Even a nice view of kona from the lanai. The owners were so gracious as to let us checkout late allowing us to enjoy our last day (being we had a late night flight). We were able to shower before heading out to dinner then the airport. This house is in a nice neighborhood close to kona and other attractions. If you have time visit Mauka meadows. It's a beautiful and tranquil garden/coffee farm that ends with an infinity pool and gorgeous view and also some free samples of their coffee. It's only a few miles from this house. I'd definitely stay here again! Thank you :)
Can you tell that we loved the location of Mango House. We were centrally located on the leeward side of the island to travel north or south without any effort. The apartment was great - clean, comfortable (king size bed) and had everything we needed and more. We definitely would stay here again when returning to the "big island".
The one bedroom apartment attached to the owner's residence is well appointed and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. They even have beach chairs, towels, and snorkeling equipment for you to use. Also bug spray and a small cooler for the beach. There is a small patio in the front of the unit which is a great place to watch the sunset. The kitchen has everything you need and a full size fridge. Nicely decorated and impeccably clean.
Henry and Maryusha were good hosts and the apartment was quiet and comfortable. Beautiful views, too. Henry arranged for a fair-priced car rental as well as picking us up at KOA and dropping us off...very convenient.
This is our 5 th time back! This time for 1 month. We love to stay at the mango house! Henry and Musi are wonderful owners who take pride in their vacation rentals and it shows! The property is very clean and well maintained with an updated kitchen this year, granite and new bamboo cabinets, beautiful! Everything you need for a home away from home including everything for the beach which is GREAT! We will be back next year:) Henry and Musi, thank you for sharing your home in paradise with us!

This is a fantastic apartment in a fabulous location with on-site parking. It is sparkly clean and has all the mod cons you need; TVs, large fridge, Microwave and I loved the filter coffee machine and grinder for making the best Kona Coffee to kick start the day, awesome! Outside we had use of the hot tub which was great for easing the aches and pains from the previous weeks Ironman triathlon.
We had use of boogie boards & fins which we used down on Magic Sands close by and even used the Snorkels and masks to check out the fishes. It was brilliant fun and a wonderful experience.
The bedroom was super comfy and the bathrooms were very tidy, clean and had everything you’d need. We had a wonderful few days here and my wife and I will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!
