I had a great time staying at this cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin is very well stocked from things needed in the kitchen, to extra blankets, to extra wood. The owners were available for any questions and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at this cabin.
Vacation in the Pines
During the day we visited many National Parks, ate at Flagstaff restaurants or participated in activities available nearby for our grandchildren. After our daily activities we returned to the comfort of the cabin. We enjoyed happy hour on the deck in the cool summer air, sometimes we had to seek shelter from the monsoons of the season. All of the bedrooms, bathrooms, accessories and amenities were used, enjoyed and worked as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised by the quantity and extent of bed linens, dishware and cookware provided. The perfect blend (to our taste) of wilderness and civilization.
The best thing about this rental was the support we received from owner Art. He answered all our questions and was attentive to our needs. I am looking forward to another visit to this A-frame in the mountains.
Great two weeks
It is set up perfectly with all you would want. The bed is comfy. Art and family are easy to work with. The climate is great. And no freeway noise! We will stay there again!
Very nice, spacious and comfortable cabin.
Kitchen has everything you would ever need....very well stocked.
Art was always available in case we needed anything at all.
Comfortable but dated
Convenient for day trips to Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon. Quiet in spite of being right on the road in a dense neighborhood. Had everything we needed, but very dated. Major hiking area just up the road.
Our cabin features three smart LCD TV's, high speed internet, Dish satellite and a quality stereo system. It features all new mattresses and bedding. It has a real massive stone fireplace in a great room with a 16' ceiling and windows with a real tongue and groove wood ceiling and oak flooring. It lacks granite countertops and an abundance of stainless steel and everything is fully functional. The online photos are very clear showing the cabin interior and exterior. The appearence is part of the charm of a cabin near the world's largest Ponderosa forest.
Super cozy and cute!
We spent 4 nights here over the Thanksgiving weekend with our family. The cabin is so cute, cozy and clean. We got there in the evening on Wednesday and were so impressed with the cabin. The three bedrooms were very roomy and the loft was perfect for the kids to sleep and hang out in. We were so happy and surprised to find that the gorgeous fireplace was already set up with wood, newspapers and "fire starters" to start a warm, cozy fire. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and serve our Thanksgiving dinner. My favorite was the large great room with soaring windows and a huge rock fireplace stocked with tons of firewood for hours of sitting and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and the quiet surroundings made it the perfect place to get some much needed rest. We spent our days hiking and exploring the area, relaxing by the fire and making smores. The evenings were spent making popcorn (which was provided) and watching movies either DVDs we brought or on Netflix (which was provided). There was even Wifi which was perfect for online black Friday shopping. Overall, this cabin is a great value and one that I would definitely recommend to others.
The location shown on the Google map is approximate.
