Narrows Cottage is nestled in the trees with lake frontage that includes a dock and swimming area. A canoe and rowboat are easily accessible for a tour of the narrows and upper/lower lakes with eagles watching from tall treetops. The Cottage sleeps 7 with 2 queen-size beds and 3 twin beds. Enjoy meals in our cozy nook with large windows on 3 sides or eat out on the deck with plenty of room to spare. If the evenings are cool, stoke up the fire in our comfortable family room and sit back to enjoy a beautiful sunset or build a fire in the fire pit and roast some marshmallows. A washer and dryer are also available.
Came out here for a weekend getaway with some of my friends and it was just perfect for what we were hoping for. The backyard is the best spot. We also really loved getting to take the boats out around the lake. Thanks so much for our stay here!
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Narrows Cottage. Grandkids especially enjoyed the water slide. We also put the canoe and row boat to good use. The cottage was clean and inviting, very comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay there.
We loved our time here for a friends' getaway. The location is so peaceful and relaxing, and it was a treat to have access to the boats to go explore the lakes. We also took full advantage of the fire pit and all of the outdoor seating/dining options. While a few low door frames/ceilings proved comically challenging for our group of 5 taller-than average adults, it wasn't a big deal. We definitely appreciated how well organized and labeled the kitchen was, and having a second full size fridge was a huge bonus for our food-loving crowd. Even when it got quite hot during the day, the house cooled off quickly at night, such A/C wouldn't have been necessary. Amy was so responsive in communicating with us, and the check-in/out procedures are very clear. Although we were happy to hunker down and relax at the house the entire time, there's a great binder full of information about amenities in the area which many would find useful. We'd certainly come back!
The house is exactly what you would expect a cozy lake cottage to feel like. It had plenty of room for two couples and one child. The interior living spaces were comfortable and the linens exactly as described. We especially liked the dining area and outdoor living spaces. If you were to ask the six year old - he really liked the boat, the canoe, the dock , the lake, the ducks that swam by everyday and the little mink that made his rounds daily.
The cabin was a great time for the family . All the kids stayed upstairs . Plenty of room for 6 kids. Great view of the lake. Neighbors were nice! The weather wasn't quite what I expected in July. It was cold and rainy. It was the middle of July and we had a fire in the fireplace that was nice . The owners came down and put in a slide off the dock. Kids had a blast. Overall ... I would definitely stay there again.
This is such a fun place to stay! The cottage is so relaxing. Our son was either fishing, swimming, or paddle boarding the entire time. The cottage was super clean and very well organized. We really enjoyed the location, close to Silverwood, CDA, etc. Thank you!
