Perfect little getaway cottage

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay here! It is very well supplied and provided everything needed. Very clean too. Our kids loved the water slide and fishing. Its a beautiful setting! Only bad thing is the upstairs gets pretty hot and their is no air conditioner. Although as long as the nights are cool, its not a problem. Its only hot during the day.

Great week on the lake

  • 5 of 5

We just spent a week at this lake house and found it to be perfect! We were a family of 4, two adults two kids and my husband's elderly parents. The layout of the house worked perfectly for us. Our family stayed in the large upper room and each boy had his own bed. We also had our own bathroom on that level. The grandparents took the lower room and had less stairs to deal with plus they had their own bathroom. The lower level stayed nice and cool while the upper would heat up like crazy. However, the owners have stocked in plenty of fans to keep the air moving and it cools down quickly at night so it was never uncomfortable for us. The house was well stocked and the only thing I couldn't find was a wine bottle opener (good thing I brought one with me!). The outside area has plenty of options to stay in the shade and enjoy the lake breezes. Probably the biggest hit was the slide! The boys spent time every day going down the slide, fishing off the side dock and playing on the water in our boat. We took the canoe out for a spin a few times through the water lilies and enjoyed watching the birds. I can't recommend this house enough! It has been well cared for and maintained and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into making it a rental. Thanks for letting us use it!

Relaxing stay

  • 5 of 5

Our two families met at this home for a local graduation. The pictures don't do justice to how it really is. Very quaint and homey. As some mentioned it is like a grandparents cottage. Plenty of room for a group of six. The lake view deck and backyard area is very comfortable. The home is VERY clean. We have rented pricier homes that were almost filthy. It is stocked well. Nice surprise to find a carafe for making extra coffee in the morning. We did have an incident with the dock( not at our fault) and called the owners as they request renters to do in the case of damage. Amy answered the phone right away. The dock was fixed the the next morning by Eric even though they live hours away. Plenty to do during the stay. They have fishing poles at the house too with a small tackle box.

We had such a great time at Twin Lakes. Our kids were busy all weekend fishing and swimming. The cabin was perfect for an active family - it was comfortable & had everything that we needed. We will definitely go back for another visit!

Cozy nicely situated little lakeside cottage

  • 5 of 5

Came out here for a weekend getaway with some of my friends and it was just perfect for what we were hoping for. The backyard is the best spot. We also really loved getting to take the boats out around the lake. Thanks so much for our stay here!
