My name is Elena and with my family, we are the owner of Podere Campriano in Greve in Chianti. I'm the 4th generation, the beginner was my grandfather and his father in the 1936 when they bought the property and the vineyards from the church. In the 1999, my family decided renew vineyards and in the 2007 was born the rooms for host guests.
Elena purchased this Farmhouse in 1924
Why Elena chose Greve In Chianti
Stay in our "agriturismo" means stay in family! We try communicate our passion, our tradition, our origins to all guests. It's also very small, you never find many people seat around the pool or noise from other guests......
What makes this Farmhouse unique
Guests can relish the family atmosphere, seat in front a glass of wine by the pool they will get lost in a beautiful sunset trough the Chianti hills, listening the sound of birds and the breeze!

We had a wonderful stay with Elena and her family. The property was amazing and in a great location. We very much enjoyed the cooking class we did too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. They have thought of every little detail to make our stay great. Wonderful slice of paradise.
Great stay in Greve
Lovely property with a gracious and kind host in Elena and her family.
This Farmhouse is magical
Podere Campriano is a hidden gem in the middle of the Tuscan hills that we were lucky enough to find. The property is located in a quaint little town called Greve in Chianti. We were greeted upon our arrival by Elena who was warm and welcoming. Our room/apartment was the Pilu (2 bed 2 bath, full kitchen). Everything was so clean, the rooms were comfortable, they even had housekeeping each day to clean up, and make beds which was nice. Elena offers a cooking class which is something we really wanted to do. Do NOT miss this opportunity to take her class. The class was only our group of 4. We made everything ourselves with her direction (Nonna also watched over us) pasta, sauce, bread, pork roast, appetizer, and dessert. She also gave us a tour of her wine cellar, explained how they make their wines and we were able to sample all 4 varieties as we enjoyed our meal. What food we didn't finish they packed up and we brought it to our room to have later, wine too. It was a wonderful experience. Make sure to go up to the pool area to see the spectacular views of the town. The only problem is that we couldn't stay longer.
The highlight of our trip to Italy was staying in this amazing home on a vineyard!
The estate was set above a lovely little town with views of the Chianti hillsides. Everything about this place was perfect and the breakfasts each morning in the old wine cellar/barn were the best we had anywhere! We had to leave early our last day and missed breakfast, sadly. We enjoyed the pool high on the hillside of the estate in the late afternoons after a day of touring. Just gorgeous! Our only regret was we didn’t get to tour the winery and learn about their vineyard because the owners were busy with a local wine festival that weekend. This was a lifetime experience!
Warm hospitality within a beautiful setting
Our stay at Podere Campriano was all we expected and more. Elena welcomes her guests as family and has made beautiful rooms with lovely breakfast each morning (coffee, home made cake - different each morning and all amazing!), home made bread and jams, fruit etc). The view from the pool is stunning and even the walk down the winding driveway to the street below for dinner is lovely past the vineyard and breathing the fresh country air. Our room had a very comfortable bed with lovely linen and the room service each day was not expected but the water bottles (frizante and still) were much appreciated for our day travels. Greve is a wonderful town to stay, after exploring many villages we would choose Greve again and would highly recommend a stay at Podere Campriano. It was not as tourist flooded and had some great little restaurants and wine bars in side streets off the main square and dine great little shops for gifts in the square. Thank you Elena for working so hard and making your guests feel like family.
Italian countryside with air conditioning, breathtaking views, and a very personable family.
This property is located on top of a hill overlooking the village of Greve in Chianti. Overall, it is stunning. The property is immaculate and there are flowers and landscape everywhere. This is a very intimate and low key setting. We were looking for a place with killer views and air conditioning in a traditional Italian farmhouse and we found it!
Elena, the property owner, greeted us at the top of the hill after letting us into the private gate. After settling into our room, we went up the path to the pool where we saw breathtaking views of the village down below and the Italian countryside.
Breakfast is available for 5 euros a person, which I highly recommend. For lunch and dinner, the walk into town is just about 5-7 minutes there and then 8-10 minutes back since you are walking uphill on the way back. Since we did not have a car, this was perfect, and even if we had a car we would walk to the village anyway since we were drinking wine!
I cannot say enough good things about Elena and the property. I will certainly be back and look forward to this gem in the Italian countryside.
Oh my God! This is one of the best review I had! I can’t say thanks enough!
It would be wonderful find all guests like you, I really can’t wait to see you again
A lot of hugs 🤗
