Elena is a wonderful host and this is a gorgeous property. The farmhouse is set up in the hills above the town of Greve in Chianti. The views from the rooms are amazing. It is a short walk into town. We are older and did not walk so for us it was only a 5 minute drive to the center. There are many great restaurants and wine tasting shops.
Our accommodation had a beautiful living room with a staircase up to the loft bedroom. Elana supplied us with a Mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was great.
The breakfast was fresh and everything was delicious. She offered eggs, fruit, yogurt, cheese fresh jams, fresh cake, toast, cereal, tea and coffee. She also offered make omelets and fresh espresso .
I am sure this property is more awesome in the warm weather because there's a beautiful pool. There are many lovely outdoor sitting areas. I know Elana offers a cooking class but we did not have time to participate. Her wines are delicious and are boutique bio Chiantis.
I would definitely recommend staying here.
Perfect in every way
Our group of 5 Canadian wine and food lovers had a wonderful stay at this terrific establishment, the host was very accommodating to all our needs, the suites were very clean, beds comfortable and breakfasts to die for. They also produce some of the best wines in the area. Highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoyed our four days as guests of Elana at Podere Campriano. The experience of Greve in Chianti over the four days of the Annual Wine festival was fantastic and the stay at Podere Campriano was perfect. Beautiful breakfast and stunning farmhouse winery
We had a wonderful stay with Elena and her family. The property was amazing and in a great location. We very much enjoyed the cooking class we did too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. They have thought of every little detail to make our stay great. Wonderful slice of paradise.
Great stay in Greve
Lovely property with a gracious and kind host in Elena and her family.
This Farmhouse is magical
Podere Campriano is a hidden gem in the middle of the Tuscan hills that we were lucky enough to find. The property is located in a quaint little town called Greve in Chianti. We were greeted upon our arrival by Elena who was warm and welcoming. Our room/apartment was the Pilu (2 bed 2 bath, full kitchen). Everything was so clean, the rooms were comfortable, they even had housekeeping each day to clean up, and make beds which was nice. Elena offers a cooking class which is something we really wanted to do. Do NOT miss this opportunity to take her class. The class was only our group of 4. We made everything ourselves with her direction (Nonna also watched over us) pasta, sauce, bread, pork roast, appetizer, and dessert. She also gave us a tour of her wine cellar, explained how they make their wines and we were able to sample all 4 varieties as we enjoyed our meal. What food we didn't finish they packed up and we brought it to our room to have later, wine too. It was a wonderful experience. Make sure to go up to the pool area to see the spectacular views of the town. The only problem is that we couldn't stay longer.
