Worked perfectly for our needs
The condo was spacious, well-appointed and in a great location. Covered parking was an added bonus, especially in the hot Phoenix summer. Sandi made the whole experience easy, she responded quickly to questions and checked in throughout our stay. Couldn't have asked for a better solution for our long term stay.

Excellent rental, especially for the price
I needed a place to stay for a summer internship and this rental was perfect. No issues checking in, keeping in touch with Sandi, or checking out. No haste throughout the rental. Couldn't recommend this place more highly

A month in Paradise!
We stayed in a one bedroom condo near biking, walking, Starbucks - what else could you want.
The condo was clean and comfortable. We could sit in the patio overlooking a small park to watch the little ones playing and others walking their dogs.
We'd stay in northern Scottsdale again.
Our home away from home
We have stayed here several times for months at a time as we are doing fertility in Arizona. So very clean and organized. Love the grounds and pool. Very quite neighbors. As far as the owners, they go above and beyond to make their guest happy. I get my deposit back every time ASAP. Very nice furniture and the smell is wonderful and clean. Now I will reply to the horrible false review left before us. We stayed immediately after this person. I did notice the damage and it was very very obviously done by a big dog. The leather was scratched horribly on her very high end leather chair. I seriously doubt that that lady sat in quite often because of the location of it, it doesn’t even face the television as it’s more of a statement piece. Also I had to call owners and let them know I found dog chewings on a couch pillow. The owner replaced chair and pillows immediately when they could. They would have before us but we needed in the unit the same day the other person left. The person had obviously brought in a big dog and was trying to lie about the damage. And the whole American Canadian comments were really kinda showed how rude she is. Also the decor comments a complete falsehood. I never write reviews but I insiste when I see the good name of someone falsely being tarnished. I wish I could upload my own photos. The condo is really my home away from home.
Thanks so much for your heartfelt review and vote of confidence! We really appreciate it. The previous renter simply turned out to be an unfortunate anomaly in an, otherwise, long line of wonderful renters, like yourselves, who enjoy the condo as much as we do.
Owners Are Not Living In Reality
The condo was okay, but owners do not live in reality and obviously have no clue about the laws in the United States. The furniture at the condo is all old and very worn out. The pictures are very deceiving. I would not ever sit on the sofa because the cushions on the back won’t stay up and it’s just old, nasty and worn out. There was one chair I sat in regularly, it was made from that cheap bonded leather. The chair is old and the cheap bonded leather was beginning to peel on the seat. The owners had a throw blanket over it covering the damage. The owners had also already placed a cover over the back of the chair hiding that damage. After my 2 month stay, that cheap bonded leather continued peeling off. I was CONSTANTLY having to sweep the peeling up off the floor where it kept crumbling each time I sat in it. These very disturbing owners tried to charge me $500 for this VERY CHEAP, OLD chair!! I have disputed this charge with my credit card company. The chair is at least 10 years old. Looks like something picked up from a garage sale for $30 or $40. These owners are Canadian and clearly have no clue how the laws work in the United States. They’re getting ready to be educated. I expect I will be taking them to court, then they will also be responsible for my attorney fees.
Also, I had to buy a new shower curtain rod because the one at the condo would not stay up. Of course I was also out this money.
There is a terrible odor of old and musty smell inside the condo. I bought plugins and candles trying to disguise the odor.
I definitely would not suggest this unit. The owners are thieves. I expect the owners will end up in court over this reservation and stay. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay.
We are saddened your rental ended on such a sour note, and that your review is so in contrast to the many compliments you communicated prior to learning you would be held accountable for damage. Since both our caretaker, as well as our cleaners, confirmed for us that there was no damage to the seat after the last rental, or prior to your arrival, we can only dispute your account. The throw was not placed across the seat, and it seems unusual to all of us that you wouldn't have mentioned the damage when we asked you, on the second day of your rental, whether everything was ok. You replied "Hi Sandi, everything is great! We are getting all settled in. The condo is wonderful"
While the chair is not new, it's far from ten years old, and it was not picked up at a garage sale for $40! Since you have chosen this platform for communication, we will reiterate our intention to resolve this as cost effectively as possible. Once we have an opportunity to determine the cost for repair/replacement, any remaining Damage Deposit balance, above what is attributable to you, will be returned. Unfortunately, this transaction has now been complicated, and delayed, by your threats here.
Having arrived at the condo immediately following your departure, we would agree there was a slight odor however, once the cleaning was complete, and the excessive dog hair, throughout the condo, vacuumed up, it completely dissipated. Sadly, although you state you determined not to use the sofa, it clearly had been used as a dog toy was found lodged in there, and one of the cushions had been chewed. Unfortunately, we had believed your assertion your pets would not be allowed on the furniture. After many years without issue, as a result of your actions, pets will no longer be allowed in the unit.
Finally, in regards to the shower curtain rod, you failed to mention that we certainly DID offer to reimburse you when you mentioned - at the end of your stay, rather than when it occurred - that you had replaced it. You responded "Don’t worry about the curtain rod. It was no big deal."
While we understand that you are angry at the situation you find yourself in here, we trust the many other positive reviews will give potential renters a more true picture of the condo and of us.
