About Jim and Jane Campbell

We are Jim and Jane Campbell and we have two grown sons. The cabin is located on our farm which is a working farm with Angus cattle. We enjoy being hospitable and will make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Jim and Jane Campbell purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Jim and Jane Campbell chose Virginia

We decided to build a log cabin on our property because our view is so wonderful and we wanted to be able to share it.

What makes this cabin unique

We are 1/2 mile off Rt. 460 and close to many restuarants, places to shop, the Peaks of Otter, and Smith Mountain Lake. We have a pond very close to the cabin and there are many places to hike and bike.

We love it here on the farm, because the views off the front porch and the many wildlife you see, put us in awe of our Lord Jesus Christ the creator of it all!

Cozy and beautiful cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful time at the cabin! The set up is great with everything in an open space. The kitchen is very clean and has new appliances. The bed was comfortable which faced the television and fake fireplace (that did give off heat) so you can watch movies in bed. Even the chairs infront of the television reclined, which was a nice surprise. The hot tub was wonderful, especially during the winter time! They had robes, towels and other amenities set for us. We really felt comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful cabin! Would definitely go back again! Highly recommend this place!

Great weekend!!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was excellent! We had looked at a few other cabins in the area but chose to spend the little extra money for the hot tub. Totally worth it! Completely private and beatiful surroundings. The cabin was clean and homely and they did not skimp on anything for being a rental. Loved having the robes for the hot tub! Definitely would go back. Thank you!!🐝

Romantic evenings under the stars

  • 5 of 5

Quiet, secluded, relaxing, comfortable, beautiful cabin all adds up to a romantic weekend. This is the new standard for "adult camping".

The little cabin was beautiful

  • 4 of 5

If you are looking for a quiet get away this little cabin is just the right place. My husband and I spent several days at this cabin which was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy nature and quiet times together. We would recommend this for a quiet retreat to couples or even if you are single and want some quiet time this is the place to go.
