Sun City Grand is an active adult community with two large rec centers, four 18 hole golf courses, indoor and outdoor pools, cardio and weight rooms, tennis and pickle ball courts, biking and walking paths. The home is about 1500 sq. ft. It has a new king bed in the master bedroom. This bedroom has an ensuite. There are queen beds in both the second bedroom and den/3rd bedroom, plus a pull out in the living room. The second bathroom is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The house has a new 43 inch flat screen tv in the living room. There is a front patio, and back patio with a BBQ. This is a non smoking house. One small dog would be considered. The home is clean, well cared for, and has everything you need for a relaxed, comfortable stay. It is located in a quiet area, however all Sun City Grand amenities are a short 5 minute drive away. There is a $600.00 refundable damage deposit and $175.00 non-refundable cleaning fee.

About Ken and Diana Rose
We live in southern Alberta and are both retired educators. We have three grown children and two young grandsons. We feel fortunate to be able to spend time with them. We look forward to trips to visit friends and family, and enjoy warm holidays. We feel Sun City Grand is a great place to spend time both relaxing, as well as participating in activities that keep us active. There are so many different things to do! We hope our guests enjoy their time here as much as we do.

Nice home with good internet and TV. Sun City Grand has great golf courses and pools. Owners were nice and easy to work with. Damage deposit refunded the day I left. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay.
It is a lovely home. Recently decorated. Very clean and comfortable. We liked the patio in back as well as the one in front. Walking path for us and our dog nearby . The community center offered many activities to enjoy, or you have the experience of a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The property managers were very accommodating, friendly and available if any issues or questions came up. We like the friendship we formed with the owners Ken and Diana. They were always concerned that we had everything needed to enjoy our stay.
My Happy Place
Sun City Grand is a wonderful spot to spend the winter months. The house was situated by a walking path which was great for our dog. Anyone bringing your dog will love this path.

We loved the house we stayed in so much that we are renting it again next year. The owners were wonderful. They made sure that everything was perfect for us. If we ran across a problem, they corrected it immediately. We would recommend it to anyone (except April because we have it for April, 2017.
It's right near a walking path, so we were able to take our dog for a walk twice a day. It's a short distance to the pool. My husband loved playing golf at the Sun City Grand golf courses again this year.

The property was very adequate for our needs for the 2 months we were there in July and August of 2015. It was clean and very convenient to everything we needed. The property managers were very prompt to address concerns we had.
THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE OWNERS. We have been out of the property for over a month and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR DAMAGE DEPOSIT. Although it has been promised from the first day after we vacated. There has been one excuse after another. Just today, October 16, 2015, we are being told that they (the owners) need another 10 days for the Postal Department to research the problem, then AND ONLY THEN will they (the OWNERS) will issue another check for our damage deposit. We wonder what time frame will be forthcoming for the receiving of that check!!!!!
With the concerns we have regarding the return of our DAMAGE DEPOSIT I would not recommend this property for any use or for anyone.
As the owners of this property, we have been considerate and respectful with our renters. We have never held back a damage deposit, and hope we never have to. The renter of this review had his damage deposit sent to an address, other than his own, as he requested. We paid to send this as a trackable package, however through the US Postal system, the damage deposit did not reach it's destination. The Canadian Postal Service has requested 10 days to search for it. We assured the renter we have no intention of keeping the damage deposit, but would like to allow the Postal Service this 10 days to locate the cheque. If at that time they have not succeeded, we also assured the renter we would reissue his damage deposit. We understand the renter's frustration, however these things happen. We hope he trusts that we fully intend to return his complete damage deposit.
Additional note: On Monday, Oct 19th, the post office notified us that they considered the package lost, and would forward return of the postage to us. We immediately cancelled the damage deposit cheque and mailed a new one on Tuesday, the 20th. By Saturday the 24th, the renter had cashed the new cheque. Again, we believe that we were respectful and considerate to our renter with this situation. We have changed the damage deposit return through VRBO so it should be a much smoother process now. We regret that the renter feels he had a negative experience with this.
