About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Home With Full Size Kitchen - Sleeps 6

Much better than a cramped hotel room for less $ than a lot of them are charging. Here you will have 2 private bedrooms and living space for relaxing and full kitchen if you want to prepare some meals on your own. There is a covered porch with seating to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a cool beverage in the evening as well as a patio with charcoal grill and picnic table.

This cabin and all furnishings are new as of June 2014. The rear bedroom has a king size bed and a 32" flat screen TV, the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The bathroom is situated between the 2 bedrooms and has ample storage, a tub/shower combo and also houses the stacked full size washer and dryer. The living room and kitchen are an open concept design. It has full size appliances in the kitchen, including a dishwasher and a 40" led flat screen TV with direct tv service. The sofa has a pull out queen size bed and the upholstered storage ottoman also doubles as extra seating. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes, glassware, pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster and other items you would find in most kitchens as well as some basic cooking staples. Bed linens, towels, paper products, dish soap, laundry soaps and cleaning products are all supplied.

About Brenda Heverin

Orginally from SE Pennsylvania my first visit to this area was in 1999. How can you not fall in love? It is just so fabulous in every direction, the beauty just never ends and it never gets old. By 2003 I was very fortunate to be able to call this area home. In 2006 I bought the Buffalo Trading Company, a retail store that caters to the tourist industry, and at that time was able to spend the majority of the year in Montana. Since then I have added another store called "Crazy Bear". In the off season I travel to Jacksonville, Florida where my only child lives and works. Planning ahead for the grandchildren I keep praying for. lol

Why Brenda Heverin chose West Yellowstone

In 2008 I purchased the original cabin on this property, "Whiskey Springs Cabin" and with the demand for vacation rentals so high and having to turn so many people away because of unavailability I decided to add this new unit and it is on the same property as the original cabin.

What makes this house unique

This is a quiet residential street which is far enough away from the business district but still only about 6 blocks from it all if you wanted to walk to all the activities. It is after all a very small town.

Whiskey Springs Cabin 2

  • 5 of 5

Excellent place to stay it was everything as promised and more. We found Brenda very easy to work with. Close to town but far enough away that it was very quiet. Clean, comfortable and quiet what more could you ask for? If you wanted to prepare your own meals the kitchen was well equipped to do that or close enough to downtown you could be there in a couple of minutes for dining out. We would stay there again.

Comfortable and pleasant

  • 5 of 5

We were very happy with our stay at Whisky Springs #2 in June. The updated kitchen had everything we needed and that space was very workable. We enjoyed watching the basketball finals on the flat screen TV. The wifi was a bit slow, but perhaps that was because the Yellowstone Half Marathon took place while we were there and there were lots of folks in the area uploading photos. There was no air conditioning but the ceiling fans kept us comfortable enough. The beds were good, and there were lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom. West Yellowstone is right outside the west entrance to Yellowstone Park, and very convenient for day visits. We would stay there again!

Very nice, comfortable place

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this cabin with my husband and in-laws on a trip to Yellowstone NP in June 2018. The master bedroom was large enough to provide room to spread out a bit. I was in the 2nd bedroom, which was a little tighter but still comfortable. The kitchen provided plenty of space to prepare meals (though we went out for most meals). The single bathroom had plenty of storage space for our toiletries. In general, I appreciated having a place with only a few steps onto the front porch, and enough space without additional stairs to accommodate physical limitations of some in our party. The only issue we really had was with the wifi, which seemed slow or did not always work consistently. When we brought this to the owner's attention, she attempted to resolve it as quickly as possible. We were very happy with our stay at this cabin.

Close to park

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 5 nights and were very comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed and was close to restaurants, shopping and Yellowstone. It was very clean. A bonus was watching the sunset over the mountains from a clearing at the end of the road. Booking was easy and response time quick.

Great experience at the cabin

  • 5 of 5

This comfortable cabin was more room than our four person family needed, but the size was welcomed to separate my son and daughter after long days in the car and hiking. The kitchen made eating easy! The layout was perfect and the house was recently updated from the paint, flooring and all details. Brenda was exceptional and easy to work with, and the location right near the West Yellowstone entrance provided easy in and out access to the park. I would recommend this cabin!

In addition to the wonders and beauty of Yellowstone National Park there are an abundance of other wonderful places to discover all within an hour or less from the cabins door. There is Quake lake and the visitors center there, Cliff and Wade lakes (off the beaten path beautiful mountain lakes), Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park, Hebgen lake, Henry's lake, Big Springs and that is just to name a few. There are miles of trails to explore in the Gallatin National Forest either by foot, bike, 4-wheeler, motorbike, jeep and actually most are accessible by car as well. Fishing is very popular as well as hiking and biking. Horseback riding, ziplining (both in West Yellowstone and Big Sky) and don't forget the Rodeo. There is sure to be something to please for everyone in you group.
