About Brenda Heverin
Orginally from SE Pennsylvania my first visit to this area was in 1999. How can you not fall in love? It is just so fabulous in every direction, the beauty just never ends and it never gets old. By 2003 I was very fortunate to be able to call this area home. In 2006 I bought the Buffalo Trading Company, a retail store that caters to the tourist industry, and at that time was able to spend the majority of the year in Montana. Since then I have added another store called "Crazy Bear". In the off season I travel to Jacksonville, Florida where my only child lives and works. Planning ahead for the grandchildren I keep praying for. lol
Brenda Heverin purchased this House in 2014
Why Brenda Heverin chose West Yellowstone
In 2008 I purchased the original cabin on this property, "Whiskey Springs Cabin" and with the demand for vacation rentals so high and having to turn so many people away because of unavailability I decided to add this new unit and it is on the same property as the original cabin.
What makes this House unique
This is a quiet residential street which is far enough away from the business district but still only about 6 blocks from it all if you wanted to walk to all the activities. It is after all a very small town.

Stay at Whiskey Springs
Had a wonderful stay. Very comfortable. Every amenity considered. Water was nice and hot and shower pressure was super. Very clean and well kept. Will be back.
Everything was great...except the weather
The property was just as shown on the listing, and was super clean. It was fully equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Communication with the property owner was clear and simple. We had a great time other than having to leave early to outrun the oncoming blizzard. We wish we could have stayed as long as we had originally planned to. Hope you come back someday, and will stay in this cabin if we do.
Everything was clean which is important. Location was awesome.. Loved the place
Super clean and has everything you need.
This property is exactly as you see listed online. Super clean and has everything you will need for your stay in West Yellowstone. Loved having a washer and dryer available. Brenda was great at getting us a quick answer on any questions we had. I would rent this cabin again.
Modern 'Whiskey Cabin' at western edge of W. Yellowstone
Very nice modern (new-looking) cabin. Amenities as advertised. Nothing in frig at all (even mustard etc.), but that wasn't guaranteed; so bring or get everything you need to make a sandwich! Very clean. Would suggest adding a side table in small bedroom - there were two in large BR so temporarily moved one over. Neighborhood quite dark at night even with porch lights on, otherwise OK.
Convenient to get into Yellowstone especially sites toward its West side (Old Faithful, Norris Geyser Basin, others).
Was unusually hot our first day and was 79 in cabin; no A/C and we knew that, but thought would be cooler weather. After first day was better.
Brenda was very good at getting back to us when we called or wrote (thanks!). I would be fine staying there again :).
Clean and cozy
This property was very clean and comfortable! It was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for our four night stay. It was so close to the west entrance and within walking distance to “downtown” shops.
In addition to the wonders and beauty of Yellowstone National Park there are an abundance of other wonderful places to discover all within an hour or less from the cabins door. There is Quake lake and the visitors center there, Cliff and Wade lakes (off the beaten path beautiful mountain lakes), Mesa Falls, Harriman State Park, Hebgen lake, Henry's lake, Big Springs and that is just to name a few. There are miles of trails to explore in the Gallatin National Forest either by foot, bike, 4-wheeler, motorbike, jeep and actually most are accessible by car as well. Fishing is very popular as well as hiking and biking. Horseback riding, ziplining (both in West Yellowstone and Big Sky) and don't forget the Rodeo. There is sure to be something to please for everyone in you group.
