SEP rates reduced from $269 to $125/ night - WE LOST 75% OF OUR RETIREMENT HOME IN HURRICANE IRMA AND HAVE LOWERED PRICES TO GET AS MUCH INCOME AS POSSIBLE FOR REPAIRS!! WINTER RENTAL (beginning late SEP) is available as well. We are located on the lake, across from the beach, on Ocean Ave, the main street in Pt Pleasant Beach. 3 bedroom 1 bath home directly on the lake (unobstructed view, with beautiful sunsets), with beach access 1.5 - 2 blocks away (beach across the street). Boardwalk and entertainment are roughly 0.7 mi (we are on boardwalk road, but far enough away that you can sleep well at night). Safe neighborhood with access to everything! New granite countertops, new queen bed, newly painted bathroom, new drapes in living room and new carpet installed throughout home Jan 2015. Approx 1650 sq feet with a huge backyard, free parking in driveway easily accommodates 6 cars. Ranch home with hi speed internet, gas grill, and large porch with NEW patio table, NEW chairs and lounge chairs with oversized backyard.

Great place

We had a great time at John's place. It is within walking distance of the public beach access and the boardwalk. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings watching the swans and geese on the lake. The queen bed we used had a very comfortable mattress. All in all a very good place to stay.

Fantastic Rental Minutes from the Beach!

This house is exactly what we were looking for, located right on the lake and one street away from the beach. The 3 bedrooms with one queen and four twins, as well as a spacious living room, kitchen, and backyard was perfect for my group. The house is clean and well-maintained. Joe and Rob, the owner and property manager, provided excellent service, and organized the booking processes/check in/check out very quickly and seamlessly. I would highly recommend.

Clean house in a Great Location

The description and photos of the house were very accurate. I must admit the house was actually nicer in person. Clean carpets and very spacious living/dining area. We spent most of our time in the backyard and at the Boardwalk. The location was prime as it was a short walk with the stroller to the beach/ night activities. The bbq was also in good condition. Keep in mind my rating is for what it is. By no means am I stating this is a five star resort; but it is definitely 5 stars for the price, location, description and cleanliness. If available next summer, we would do multiple weeks/weekends for sure.

Owner and rental Mgr were very attentive and responded promptly when called. Adequate amenities except AC in living room not big enough to cool that area. You are close enough to everything, yet away from the boardwalk crowd noise. Beach is walking distance...

Pleasant Stay in Pt. Pleasant Beach

It was short but so sweet, our visit to 1417 Ocean. The house was perfect for us, the sunsets were breathtaking and the location was ideal. The owner and property manager were efficient, friendly and helpful. Wish I could have lingered longer for more walks to the beach and boardwalk, bikeriding, and nightlife. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cell is 732 300 5451. We can accommodate short term rentals (ie 7 day or less) but require payment in full. We WILL accept 2 payments (50% now, 50% 7 day prior to checkin) for any rental period of 7+nights with first payment on receipt and 2nd payment 30 days before arrival. I'm sorry but like most homeowners in Ocean County, we do not accept cancellations within 30 days of checkin because of extremely high demand. Many groups want the same week and this is a firm policy. RE cancellations more than 30 days in advance: we retain a 20% rebooking fee of total amount, minus security deposit/fees. We will make every effort to re-rent the property for the same amount we rented to you. Like 90% of short term beach rentals in the area we dont offer linens/sheets/towels. We really try to accommodate all early checkins/ late checkouts but this is at management discretion, based on availability, and may cost $50/hour (our cleaners are extremely busy in July/Aug and charge us accordingly). We are located next to a bird sanctuary owned by the town of Pt Pleasant Beach, so you only have one neighbor. Thanks!
