About this property

Whitehorse Mountain Retreat

Escape to Whitehorse Mountain Retreat, nestled near a peaceful creek at the mountain's base, just moments from the North Fork Stillaguamish River. Our cozy cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Relax in the inviting hot tub, stay connected with Wi-Fi, and embrace the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Dog and kid friendly property. Ideal for couples or small groups seeking a rejuvenating getaway. Book now for your tranquil retreat! This is a cool log home that has everything you need. The couches are comfy, as are the beds. It's rustic in nature, so expect some dating on various aspects. You will love hanging in the living area with the gas fireplace keeping you toasty. The sleeping loft is accessible via standard stairs, and there is a bedroom on the main level if you are mobility challenged. We have a large kitchen with bar area to gather around while you dig into conversation and cooking endeavors. The yard is fully fenced to the road and you could easily pitch a few tents or accommodate a decent size gathering for a special occasion. Great place to throw the stick for the dog, or let the kiddos play in the creek. The hot tub is private and ideal for the evening star gazing. The porch is perfect to sit back and dig deep with your peeps. If you venture out from our property, you'll find an easy walkable neighborhood. We actually have miles of gravel roads within walking distance that will put you up on North Mountain. Speaking of North Mountain, that is one premier mountain biking and hiking park right near you. Overlanding and 4x4's enjoy the roads near you. It's a great place to start and end a day of exploring! If the river is calling you, we have many public river access points within a short drive. The river has always been the favorite for locals :) You will have the entire home and property to yourself. We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Please review the following information prior to booking your stay :)

1) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, check-out instructions is available on the Airbnb app :)
2) If you plan to bring your furry friend, we welcome them with open arms and have a maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with a fee of $75 per stay. No cats are allowed. To avoid any confusion, please include your dog in the reservation. Please note that we kindly ask you to not allow dogs on the furniture, beds, or in the sleeping loft.
3) We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive early, or stay past check-out. The cleaners will be there by 11 AM. If the cabin is ready before the standard 4 PM time, our team will message you. The cabin is usually booked back to back with every guest deserving a fully cleaned and presented cabin :)
4) We do recommend that you bring a couple bundles of dry firewood and kindling for that great fire in the firepit. Darrington IGA and Arlington Grocery Outlet both have great ready made bundles.
5) AllTrails is a great resource for your local hikes and excursions.
6) Weather forecast for your planning should be Darrington Washington.
7) Closest gas, grocery, outfitters, firewood, restaurants, coffee, and bars is fifteen minutes to the East in Darrington Washington. You should find everything you need there. There is a small grocery, gas, and deli five minutes down the road in Whitehorse.
8) Special events or larger gatherings please feel free to reach out! We strive to accommodate all our guests' needs, so please feel free to let us know if you have any special requests or requirements. We can't wait to host you and make your stay unforgettable! :)
