Engaging, friendly host interested in people and creative endeavors. I spend my time running a local non-profit organization that protects and enhances land and water through collaborative processes, research, design and habitat restoration efforts. I also have a business in interior design, creating beautiful and comfortable living spaces for myself and others. I have established the gardens around the home to create a peaceful, beautiful setting with the hope of providing an oasis for guests to relax into and enjoy. I love being a host, providing a beautiful home and garden for others to experience and feel at home during their visit to Eugene. I love meeting interesting and friendly people and I look forward to hosting you!
Eve purchased this House in 2015
Why Eve chose West Eugene
The moment I walked in to this house, I loved it and could see the potential to create a beautiful home for vacationers, and thus the creation of Jackson Star began! The craftsmanship is of high quality and it is obvious the house has been well-cared for over the years. I loved the floor plan on the main level and the loft is truly dreamy on a clear evening with the stars and moon visible from the bedroom window in the loft. The art studio behind the house has a gorgeous view of the trees and flowers that characterize the neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, markets and bakeries all within walking distance . Serene. Beautiful. Peaceful. Great neighbors!

Cozy Cottage in Eugene
The house was lovely, comfortable and cozy. The only thing that was a little confusing was how to work the downstairs heater. We will definitely reserve this home again.
I am pleased you had a lovely stay at Jackson Star! Sorry to hear you found the heating unit confusing to operate. Instructions are in the house manual and I would love a call from guests to clarify instructions for operating the system, if needed. I enjoy hearing from guests. I look forward to hosting you again. Best, Eve
Charming, clean and comfortable.
Great location, within easy walking distance of downtown and many coffee shops. Absolutely charming and clean 1940’s home with fabulous decorative touches, comfortable furniture and bedding. Easy and quick communication with the hostess. Sweet neighborhood. Lovely outdoor patio/garden area. Our stay there was fantastic.
This house met all our needs and was very clean.
beautiful place + wonderful host + perfect location!
We had a wonderful stay at Jackson Star, and would love to return. It was the perfect place for our family of four. Eve is a wonderful host, very quick to communicate and helpful. The garden is truly lovely and the house is stylish and very clean. The location is ideal, as it's a quick walk to many great restaurants, stores, playground, etc. and a short drive to campus, downtown and other areas of Eugene.
We would definitely love to stay here again when we return to visit family in Eugene.
Great location and a quick ride/walk to Downtown and campus, if a little ambiguous. Place is clean and quiet. Was not crazy about the memory foam mattress in main bedroom but not a deal breaker.
Perfect spot in Eugene
This home is immaculate and set up with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. The outdoor garden space is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. The house is located in a great spot to walk to many places in Eugene. It's on a quiet street in a really charming neighborhood. We were in Eugene for a family wedding and a few days before our stay we asked for an adjustment in our reservation. The host was quick to respond to questions and she was very accommodating and understanding of our needs. If we ever need a place to stay in Eugene again, we will try to book this place.
The Jefferson Westside neighborhood is an attractive, quite residential area within walking distance to the best entertainment and restaurants Eugene has to offer. Enjoy a quite evening or day in the gardens of Jackson Star, or take a nice stroll to dine out, hear music or see live theatre or a movie! An excellent location in Eugene, also featuring a park nearby.
