Here at Hendrix House, wake up to a light symphony of birdsong, then step onto the deck to take a big, deep breath of the fresh forest air—there really is nothing like it. Or sip your coffee on the all-season enclosed porch (we provide the Keurig pods). If you bring your dog along with you, let them run free and explore in the backyard’s separate fenced-in, wooded area.

After a day of exploring Asheville, the Biltmore, or the Blue Ridge Parkway, share a feast at the outdoor dining table under the cool canopy of trees. The backyard landscaping merges seamlessly with the surrounding nature, with flowering azaleas and a stone staircase leading to walking trails that meander around the property. The forest will be your backdrop in this private wooded wonderland as you gather around the firepit and toast marshmallows under the stars from your Adirondack Chair.

Indoors, we set up the space to be great for everything from quick weekend getaways with friends and family to longer work-from-home staycations, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a separate private office area including 2 monitors and a printer. The house has blazing fast WiFi so you're good to go for zoom calls. Get your work done quickly and then go play!

The main bedroom is a suite with a king bed and massive bathroom that includes a double vanity and a huge walk-in shower, the perfect indulgence after a day of hiking or mountain biking. The other two bedrooms with King and Queen beds respectively are upstairs and share a bath with a tub/shower combo.

The living area is downright inviting, with a sectional sofa that’s great for naps or reading, a gas fireplace, and a view of the trees and mountains through large picture windows. You may even hope for a rainy day, so you can stay in, cuddle up, and listen to the rain fall gently on the trees while streaming your favorite Netflix show on the 60 inch SmartTV.

Asheville’s award-winning craft breweries and food scene are always enticing, but you can also skip it with a kitchen like this! A huge center island with barstools provides plenty of space for prepping dinner or just hanging out. The kitchen opens out to a dining area with a mid-century modern table for 6.
