About Lisa G

We live just a couple of minutes up the hill from here. We own a small farm where we rescue sick or neglected animals. We have helped goats, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats. We enjoy traveling, but with so many animals my husband and I have to take turns vacationing.

Why Lisa G chose Puget Sound

This house is filled with charm in a quiet neighborhood. It is a great, central location.

  • New September 2016. We just upgraded to a queen sized organic Nest Bedding mattress and pillows. They are wonderful!! The mattresses are all brand new, high end and comfortable. You'll feel like Goldilocks trying out all of the beds. Some are very firm memory foam and some are very soft pillow topped. They are all wonderful! We filled each room with freshly laundered luxurious linens.

Beds were amazing and comfortable. Loved the full size washer and dryer. Even during a heat wave the house was comfortable

A small, quaint house in a very quiet neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

This tiny home in Puyallup was a perfect fit for our family (three adults and two children)! Clean and comfortable it was a great place to recover from our day trips and sleep soundly at night. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom towels were luxurious. The washer and dryer were much appreciated and needed appliances as we had spent the previous 7 days traveling throughout North West Washington. We were about 40 minutes from the Space Needle, an hour and a half from Mt Rainier National Park and 30 minutes from the airport. Convenient and within blocks of some surprisingly good restaurants downtown. No problems, no worries and a great home base for a lot of fun!

Beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

Lisa was a great host and provided my family and I an awesome place to stay for the holidays. The house was decorated beautifully and everything was clean and tidy. It was a great price for the length of stay, 17 days, and very spacious for my family of 4. The beds were extremely comfortable and nothing like a typical hotel or rental would have. I would recommend this to all types of vacationers.

lots of character and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this home. The beds were very comfortable with lots of linen, blankets and plenty of towels in the bathroom. I loved the welcome bathroom amenity basket, the welcome mints in the living room area and a small basket of snacks in the kitchen. House was clean with a huge backyard area. It is an older house with lots of character. It was great with the 3 bedrooms, with twin beds in the roof area. The only difficulty we had was one bathroom, and with 3 females and 1 male, we had to set up a schedule for bathing. Cute kitchen with Laundry room downstairs was great. I would stay here again.

Map

Car: not necessary

This is a great central location. We can get to a nice, sandy beach in 10 miles, a beautiful lush forest with hiking trails in 15 and are just a couple miles from your choice of a few lakes. We are within walking distance to the Sounder, which is a great commuter train and the commuter bus stop is at the end of our street. If you want something to occupy more of your time, I highly recommend spending a day in Seattle enjoying the Pike Place Market, the Space Needle and the waterfront. Another great day trip would be Mt Rainier. The picturesque drive up there is half the fun! We are also a few miles from Wild Waves. It is a very popular water park with tons of rides.

I don't charge a cleaning fee with the expectation that you will return the house reasonably tidy. This usually works out really well. If you don't wish to clean, we have a housekeeper available for $175 each visit, up to four hours. If the house is returned with damages, excessive amounts of cleaning or missing items may result in me keeping your deposit or making a claim against your travel insurance.
