This one bedroom one bath unit is simply but tastefully decorated to accommodate Florida's easygoing lifestyle. The bedroom has a queen size bed. The full kitchen has all the essentials to make life easier leaving time to enjoy the outdoors, the beach, and the community. The front yard is a natural habitat and home to at least two gopher turtles. This is an endangered species and we are lucky to have use of their space.
My partner and I bought this property in 1998 with the intention of retiring here some day. We have completely restructured and remodeled it, and has been listed as a duplex with this website since 2001. At the time we purchased this property we lived and worked in Gainesville, home of the University of Florida, only a one and a half hour away. For several years we spent most of our weekends here. Now, we live and work in Miami, and therefore come here less often, but since we own five other vacation rental units in Flagler Beach, we have a local caretaker that keeps up with constant maintenance and improvements, and we visit at least once a month.

“From the moment we arrived we started to relax. The apartment has been decorated so lovingly from eclectic artwork & cute dishes, to comfortable and casual furnishings. The kitchen is well-equipped for making simple meals and snacks. There was a bottle of wine awaiting us - what a nice touch. The beach is directly across the street and the sound of waves can be heard from the porch. We walked almost every day on the beach and the surrounding lovely neighborhood. Walking on the ever-changing, beautiful beach never got old. There are several great restaurants within walking distance as well. The town is so cute and really laid-back. Andres, the owner, was so easy to work with via email. He answered my questions quickly and invited me to ask more. Doug, the caretaker, lives nearby if you need anything and is so welcoming and friendly. We also met Rita and she was extremely friendly too. All in all we had a wonderful month and hope to return someday.”

My family and I loved this property! It was quiet and felt secluded. The beach access was very convenient as well as the overall cozy feel of the place. The staff were very friendly and personable. Shout out to Andres, Rita and Doug :) We will definitely be coming back to this place. I would definitely recommend this place and our favorite meal was the pizza from Tony's Pizza beside Publix. We enjoyed it so much but hope to come back and rent the upstairs unit for the amazing view it has. The only complaint we had was the noise from the upstairs unit and the bed was not very comfortable. Overall, we would definitely rent this place again and will recommend to our friends and family!! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
