Rach was born and bred in Sydney, Australia, and has proudly called New York home since 2003. Sean is a Long Beach native and owns the local garden center and florist. They love to garden (of course!), spend time with their dogs, cycle along the boardwalk, and barbecue as much as possible.

We had a vacation rental in Brooklyn for 18 months (earned over a dozen 5-star reviews) and really enjoyed meeting such a variety of new guests so when we moved to Long Beach we wanted a two-family house so we could continue to do the same. The house is a stone's throw from the beach, the train to the city, the high street with shops and restaurants - it's the perfect location. We love living here and know people with really enjoy their stays.
How can you beat an early morning workout at NYSC 200 yards away, grabbing your coffee on the way back to the house and then strolling 5 blocks to the beach for a day on the sand?? And now we've landscaped the front patio - what a great place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sunset.

We enjoyed our stay in Long Beach, Rachael is a wonderful host and her garden is beautiful. The apt is clean and walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. We also got a late check out since she did not have a quest coming in on Sunday,it was so nice to spend the extra day at the beach with family. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. I was so glad that we found this place to stay in Long Beach. The owner, Rachel, is friendly and helpful with the touristy stuff, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen met all of the needs for our family of four, and the location near the beach, restaurants and the train was perfect. The garden patio was beautiful and smelled wonderful. Best of all, the apartment was cheaper and better than the hotels in the area. We would definitely stay again!
This is a very cute, comfortable, convenient and clean two bedroom unit with excellent landlords who always make the stay feel like home. I’ve rented here for a few years on and off during the summer and I highly recommend this beach rental. It is a few blocks from the beach, close to the train, there are cute shops nearby, a nice wine store around the corner- and all that Long Beach has to offer is in close vicinity. I prefer this East End location to the West End because it is more private and still, all the West End has to offer is a 10 min cab ride away. The Beach access at Monroe Street is also more ideal than the areas near the train - much cleaner and quieter. Thank you again to the best beach landlords!

We had a great time at Rachel's apartment. Everything was as described and she was very kind and helped us with everything we asked for. Since Rachel lives upstairs, the only suggestion to improve the stay would be to put a carpet on the house floor that is over the main bedroom in the basement since we could hear the steps and the furniture movement early in the morning. Anyway, everything else was perfect! The location was great, 3 blocks away from a big supermarket and 6 blocks away from the beach so you don't need a car. We would definitely go again to this place. Had a great stay in Long Beach. Place was perfect, all the amenities of home. Hosts were very nice and helpful with dinner suggestions, etc. Beach was a few blocks away. Would recommend highly and be glad to visit again!
