This is a open and bright gulf front beach townhome. There are views of the gulf in the master bedroom, living and dining area. Just a few steps to the white sandy beach. New deluxe grill, new sleepers, new lower deck....best location on the Cape! Wonderful master bedroom looking out on the gulf. Deck off the Master Bedroom. Three flat screened tvs. Large screened in porch looking out on the gulf. Nice dinette set on porch.

MASTER BEDROOM

New king size bed with pillow top mattress adjoining bathroom and walk in closet. New flat screen TV. and DVD. player. We call this the Honeymoon Suite. Incredible gulf views from master bedroom. You won't be disappointed!

GUEST BEDROOM

New queen size bed with pillow top mattress. New flat screen T.. and DVD. for your enjoyment. Built in drawers and large closet all for ample storage.

KITCHEN

Fully furnished kitchen. New dishwasher, disposal and microwave.

LIVING ROOM/DINING AREA

Open bright area with views of the gulf. Great for entertaining family and friends. Living area includes new large flat screen TV. and DVD., queen sofa sleeper and loveseat.

LOCATION

Cape San Blas is located midway between Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. This is a unique environment providing you with some of the best beaches in the world. The low population density combined with the stunning natural beauty of the area offers you an unforgettable experience. The St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is one the last truly natural areas left on the gulf coast and offers unique opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, birding and beach activities. Bring your camera. Deer, wild turkeys, bald eagles, and other wildlife abound. St Joseph Bay, famous for it's Redfish and Sea Trout, is also a favorite scalloping area in the summer. Apalachicola Bay is the Oyster center of the universe. (or at least the western hemisphere)

My wife and I spent eight winters on the cape before purchasing our beach home. We were attracted to this area because of it's quality environment, world class beaches, great fishing and boating, and in general, laid back lifestyle. If you like shopping malls, high rises, and congestion, this is not for you. Bring your kayak or boat (or rent one) The new bike path takes you from the beginning of the cape all the way into St. Joseph State Park......a remarkable place to visit.

What makes this house unique

My wife and I have vacationed on the east coast, california and Fla. We have NEVER discovered a location with the benefits of Cape San Blas. The combination of quality natural environment, low population density and mild climate can not be found any place else in The US. Half this peninsula is a state park (has been voted best in the US) with a wilderness area.........abundant wildlife and unique maritime hummocks and pine and oak woods with incredible coastal sand dunes on the gulf side and St. Joe Bay with its unique ecology on the other.......the quaint towns of Port Saint Joe and Appalachicola are a taste of old Florida. If you like a laid back life style, the best beaches on the planet, and a quality environment........the Cape can not be beat.

Excellent location

This is our second year in a row to stay at Whataday. I just want to mention that last year I made mention that a new shower head would help upstairs. This year, there is a new shower head and the water pressure is much better. So, just know these owners are tops and really care about their renters. We are here during 4th of July week and just meeting a lot of the same people from last year. The view is to die for. Our dogs are welcomed by everyone and just seriously the very best location with The Trading Post within walking distance. I also might mention, there are miles and miles of bike paths that we take full advantage of. We will definitely stay here again next year.

Great place to stay

My husband and I along with my son and his wife stayed here during the week preceding July 4. The location was terrific. Just steps from the beach and so near the Trading Post you could walk. We had two dogs along who loved the beach and they were quite welcomed by everyone as well. Cell phone reception was spotty but the wifi was great so that was not a problem at all. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again. The only complaint I would have and this is said only to make the owners aware, the Masterbath upstairs could use a new shower head or something to help with the water pressure. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Perfect for our family!

This home exceeded our expectations- it was very clean & neat- it felt like a home. The kitchen was well stocked for any vacation cooking but the best part- at least for us- was that screened in porch facing the Gulf; I had my morning coffee there each day- so relaxing. The beach location is just gorgeous & not too crowded. The owner was nice to work with too. We are already planning on coming back to Whataday in 2014! Can't wait. We would certainly recommend Whataday.

Lives up to name

My husband and I just returned from a weeks stay at WhatADay and it lives up to it's name. The town home was great. The sunsets are amazing and star gazing from upper deck is breath taking at night. We took advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and outside gas grill. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to escape on the cape. The property management company was friendly and helpful.

What-a-week

The house was great! Just as described, the house was very clean and well kept. Pristine Properties did a great job answering questions and even called us to make sure everything was going well. The house was right on the beach and everyone from 40 to 2 had a great time. The only things I would change would be the master bath door and the water pressure was iffy when both showers were on. If you are looking for an economical, nice place to stay I would recommend this house with no reservations.

Sorry for the delay in sending in a review! 2012 was the second year we stayed at this property and I have nothing but great a recommendation for it. The location, the tranquility, the beautiful view is wonderful and so relaxing. The owers are great to work with and the duplex is super. We are going back this year for the third time and hopefully will make this our annual vacation location.
