Best place ever!
This house is wonderful! It was sparklingly clean when we arrived. It was just as advertised with very cute and comfortable furnishings. The stairs to the lake had been recently repaired and went right down to the lake. The location of the house is fantastic, close to everything, including the big public beach on Lake Michigan. We had all the room we wanted, were very comfortable, and loved the house!! The property managers are extremely gracious and wonderful!! I cannot wait to go back next summer! I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a roomy, comfortable hideaway in the woods. It cannot be beaten!!
Peaceful get awa with the benefits of being close to everything!
This is the second time I've stayed at this property and I enjoyed it each time. The house is clean comfortable and has everything someone would need. The backyard has a fire pit and plenty of chairs for campfires and making s'mores. I would definitely recommend this property!
Thanks we enjoy hosting returning visitors....it seem to make it fun on both ends to better get to know your visitors (and your great dog).
Thanks we agree... the fire pit is so great right in the middle of the lovely wooded area...looking forward to seeing you next year.
Great cottage with a fantastic location.
We had the opportunity to have an extended stay at this property. It is a very well maintained property and we enjoyed every day there. We enjoyed the beach when we could and it seems like you are in the middle of paradise and only minutes away from everything.
Yes it feel like the house is in a state park...but restaurants, the farmer market, art museums, county museum, golf, in land lakes, the drive-in and grocery shopping are all so close. Muskegon area is so fun in the summer
Fun week at the beach!
My wife, daughter and I and our family stayed here for a week and had a great time. It was really nice to have our dog with us, however the beach is shared and some of the other people at the beach did not care for dogs. Beach is amazing, albeit it quite small so if multiple families are on the beach it does feel crowded. Cottage itself is very comfortable. Owner is very responsive and took care of the few issues we had in a timely manner. Overall, we had a great time!
Sweet Beach Retreat
We recently had the pleasure of spending a week at this wonderful home. It couldn't have been any better. The house is set in secluded woods in a very quiet setting. The house has everything you could need for a family vacation. The owner was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We have vacationed in Michigan several times and never had access to what I would call a private beach. The beach access is only a couple 100 yards away from the home and it is awesome with breathtaking sunsets. The location allowed us to also make a couple college visits to WMU and MSU. We would jump at the chance to stay here again and would recommend this house to anyone that wants to have a relaxing vacation in a very cozy home with a private beach!
Private, serene and close to Lake Michigan!
Beautiful house surrounded by nature but only minutes from town. We saw deer, wild turkeys, pilated woodpeckers, and much more on a daily basis. The house was well kept and felt like home. The owner was gracious and very accommodating. We had the private beach to ourselves every time we went there! Sitting on the porch surrounded by the sounds of nature was so wonderful we did not want to leave!
