DRIVE-BOAT-PADDLE or SAIL IN to this one-of-a kind luxury townhome
Why Donna chose Grant-Valkaria
There are few properties this size on the east side of U S Highway 1, directly on the intracoastal with dockage and kayaks available for use. The dock is a great fishing spot. The Sebastian Inlet is a short distance away. There are great fishing destinations, restaurants and islands to boat , kayak or drive to.

Perfect winter get away
This is a great property located on the Indian River Lagoon. The dock is within 50 yards of the Intracoastal waterway so their are numerous beautiful yachts to watch pass by.
You can view space launches from the dock. There are manatees, dolphins, osprey and eagles who share your space. The property owner is fun and we had no maintenance issues during our 2 month stay. I brought my own flats boat and the dock was safe and had power, a must for battery recharging. Some of the best flats fishing on the Lagoon is within a 10 minute boat run. We have rented three different properties and this is by far the best.
Nature at it's best
The pictures of this condo say it all. The unit is well furnished, eceptionally clean an well equiped. Our unit came with a garage which was appreciated. Also available were kyaks. There several islands nearby to explore. Our morning coffee included birds and dolphins. We spent numerous hours sitting on the enclosed patio watching wildlife. Also, there are several restaurants in closeby.
My husband and I stayed the entire month of March 2016. The pictures of this place do not do it justice -- it's even nicer. Donna (the owner) was so nice and willing to help make sure our stay was just perfect. She is so friendly and accommodating. The actual condo has a beautiful view of the water, the balcony's were great, furniture, kitchen HUGE master bedroom and closets-- again, pictures do not do it justice. A perfect place to stay. The area is so relaxing and at the same time so close to everything a person could want to do. I highly recommend it and hope to rent the condo every March. This review would not let us put in the actual date of our stay. We did not stay in May 2015, but March 1 through March 31
Beautiful view and clean, updated property
For us the location was ideal. About half way between Vero Beach and Melbourne Beach (about 15 miles or so either way) where we went for upscale dining and cultural events and close to the lovely city of Sebastian. All the required shopping (groceries, drug store, miscellaneous shopping) was within 3 miles and several local restaurants within easy walking distance. Property was right on water so could easily put kayaks in water and rented a boat one day and tied up to the dock. Numerous walking trails available in the area as well as places to take kayaks for a change of pace from the Indian River. This was our first experience on this side of Florida and it was very enjoyable. Slow pace, away from traffic and the crowds of the Gulf Coast yet had easy access to cultural events, movies, etc. The kitchen was well stocked, the condo very comfortable and clean. Donna, the owner was readily available if we had any questions. We would highly recommend this place.
condo in Grant, Fl.
We stayed in condo in feb of 2015. unit very clean and in nice community. Lots of resturants & things to see and do. Other towns close by for shopping. really enjoyed our stay and nice people in the other condo's.
The townhome is located on the Indian River Lagoon, a unique aquatic estuary. This open, wide span of water provides great fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, tubing, jet skiing and kite boarding. Have a boat, motor in or use the public boat launch ½ mile away. Enjoy the easy of boating from the back yard. There are many great small secluded islands to motor or paddle to. The inside of the Sebastian Inlet is a great spot for anchoring and enjoying a day on the water. There are several great waterfront restaurants accessible by boat. No water toys….. kite boarding lessons can be arranged with equipment and launch site 3 miles up the road. Boat and jet ski rentals are available in the area, or use one of the kayaks which are available for use during your stay. Want an easy, kick backed, boat outing… join one of the local eco-tours which depart twice a day.
Sebastian, Vero Beach and Melbourne Beach are great destinations for shopping, eating or visiting unique local attractions.
From the Sebastian Chamber of Commerce:
Welcome to the Sebastian River Area, one of Florida's authentic Treasure Coast communities on the Indian River Lagoon and home to America's first National Wildlife Refuge, Pelican Island. The Sebastian River Area is located on the central east coast of Florida and is situated in the northernmost part of Indian River County about 15 miles north of Vero Beach and 20 miles south of Melbourne. The area is well known for the rare antiquities that have washed upon its shores. Treasure hunters continue to search our beaches for gold, jewelry, and other artifacts lost in history. Sebastian Inlet State Park is the premier saltwater fishing spot on Florida's east coast; favored by anglers for catching snook, redfish, bluefish, and Spanish mackerel from its jetties. Surfing is also a popular recreation and several major competitions are held here every year. The Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway, a nationally designated byway runs through the Sebastian River Area. The Indian River Lagoon, which is North America's most biologically diverse estuary, the St. Sebastian River, Blue Cypress Lake, and the Stick Marsh are fishing hotspots and a boater's paradise. Sebastian hosts one of the most spectacular skydiving views in the world.
