Hollywood blvd, Universal studios, Burbank studios & downtown.Malibu and Santa Monica beaches are approximately 35 minutes away.Balboa and Woodley Lakes golf courses are located 5 minutes away in Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area.There are also great hiking and biking trails around the park. Synagogues & Churches are in a walking distance.

I have never been disappointed with Home Away! This was located in a lovely neighborhood in Encino . Lots of flowers & trees. Owners on premises. Clean, comfortable & newly upgraded. Will recommend to anyone I know that's heading to the LA area.
We had a great stay at this Encino property . Exceptionally clean and comfortable . The owners left snacks , fruit and fresh flowers which were very much appreciated . They also made us feel very welcome and we hope to return in the future . Thank you to the family .
I loved staying at this centrally located guest house. It was a perfect place for me and would have been great even if I had brought my wife along. I loved being able to used the pool. All the amenities were taken care of including a very nice basket of snacks. I highly recommend this rental.
The area was perfect, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The pool was clean and well kept and completely private. It was about 20 minutes from LA and a nice drive. Looking forward to staying there again.
My wife and I arrived and was pleasantly surprised as to the warmth, cleanliness and overall immaculate condition of the dwelling.
It had everything we needed for the week and the bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up in the morning.
Take also into consideration the fact that we didn't have to pay for parking while being able to park on the premises and it's close proximity to local shops, restaurants, and the interstate, and this rental was the best I've experienced while visiting Los Angeles as this is an annual trip for us to visit family.
I wil never go to another hotel after this experience - it was the best decision I've ever made in reference to vacation lodging, and the owners of the property were equally impressive with thier welcoming of us to their guest house and ensuring that all of our needs were met....... Awesomely nice people as well!!
My only complaint if you could really call it a complaint is that it would have been nice to be able to park by the guest house at the end of the driveway instead of having to park at the head of the driveway and walking a few hundred feet to the guesthouse especially during late night hours, but the residence is gated and we felt perfectly safe, so this was a very minor issue for us....... Just being lazy...... Lol....
But again and overall an exceptional experience....... We will be staying here again and will revolve out vacation time to ensure that we are able to rent this specific property upon any visit to Los Angeles.
The guesthouse is nicely renovated and appointed, clean, quiet, and very well located near the 101 and 405. I stayed there on my own while I was working on a film in Van Nuys (I was 5 minutes from the set), but would definitely stay there again with my husband. It was not warm enough to take advantage of the pool, but I did enjoy relaxing in my private garden area. The guest house is attached to the owner's house but still felt private. The owner BatSheva, was extremely responsive to my last minute booking needs, accommodating, and attentive without being intrusive. I arrived to a lovely basket of healthy snacks and fruit, and fresh flowers from her garden. Nice touch. I can highly recommend to others and will stay again myself.
