Wonderful! 4.8/5 -

Port St Lucie, Florida

Very nice place, clean and well kept, could be a 5 with a little more effort.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights, and would come back again and recommend it as well. There are some things I would change however, first of all the bed in the master bedroom was hard as a rock, my wife and I both woke up with back pains. The last night I slept on the sofa, which was a lot better. Also, the lights in front of the house come on automatically and can't be shut off. Unfortunately, these lights are directly outside the bedroom windows and light up the whole room at night, despite the drawn shades. The ice maker in the kitchen fridge does not make any ice. The kayaks are a nice touch, but they are not the "sit on" variety and getting in, and especially out, of them from the dock is a very "tippy" experience. The bath in the master bedroom is actually smaller that the one in the back of the house, and the shower is not much bigger then a phone booth. The faucets are hard to turn on and off, and the stopper comes off in your hand. So if you want to shave, you have to stick a wash rag down the drain to plug it up. I know I might be picky, but like I said, this could be a 5 with a little more effort.

This is an excellent property, clean with a great location. Close to the mangroves for those who love to kayak and boat. We are working on our next trip and hope to stay here again. Thanks Luis for a great time.

Clean,nice patio,good location

  • 4 of 5

We were a group of six adults and stayed in the property for 3 nights. Everything went smoothly. The location is very convenient, right off highway 1. The property was clean and roomy with nice decor. Kitchen was well equipped with all the basics. The best part was the big patio which is screened in to prevent bugs and mosquitoes (which is very essential). Will definitely recommend.

Lovely Home

  • 5 of 5

The home was absolutely wonderful! 1 master bedroom with full bath and 1 other bedroom with large bunk bed and an extra trundle bed. Also this room had a large bathroom. The living room was spacious and the couch could pull out to a bed also. Tv available in LR and both bedrooms. WIFI with password also available. This home was stocked with all kind of extras (TP. trash bags plates knives cups sheets towels ect)

The kitchen fully stocked! We used the outside grill several times !! The screened in back porch was perfect for anytime !!! Its huge !! Down by the water there is a fish/bait table with running water . lights available for night fishing ! 2 kayaks 2 life jackets and 2 bikes in outside building for use also!!!!

The neighbors in the area are very kind and pleasant ;)

Location of home very close to john pennecamp and grocery stores within a mile or 2 in either direction. Very close to several bait shops too!!!

There is a FREE day use county park/beach a short driving distance up the main rd. on the right.

Johnpennecamp beaches were disapointing and u have a fee. The snorkeling at Pennecamp was definately worth it though.

If you want to relax at a "beach" close by Harry Harris Park is the place to go! Its lovely !

Luis was readily available by text/phone if needed. He wanted us to just ENJOY our stay.

He had everything we needed already there. The was no problems or concerns with the home or anything else :)

We did straighten up the house and take out trash prior to leaving :) we took good care of his home !!

We got our refundable security deposit back ;)

After our stay Luis called and checked on us to be certain we had a great time ! I think i left a little piece of my ❤ there! Thankyou again Luis !!!

To be in a warm climate with beautiful surroundings for New Year's weekend-priceless!

  • 5 of 5

From start to finish this tropical get away will fulfill your every need! The two bedroom space is immaculately clean, enough room for probably up to 7-8 people. The screened in porch overlooking the canal is paradise! The unit is surrounded by fascinating structures each individualized to taste. Most units have boats tied at the dock - making the scenery simply beautiful!

The beds were comfortable - complete with new sheets! The kitchen had everything you needed and then some.

Louis was the perfect host-always answering each question and issue almost immediately! What a breath of fresh air ! I even dropped my key at the restaurant on New Year's Eve and hesitantly called Louis-he had me in within minutes and wasn't even upset I called!

I would not take a penny back from this wonderful experience and will definitely be back! Don't want to leave!!

Clean and stocked

  • 4 of 5

This home worked well for me during a "work-cation" in November. The place was very clean and had practically everything we needed.

The location was a quick drive to everything we had planned to do.

We didn't cook all that much- just seared some fish and made salsa so I can't add much on the cooking front. But the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. That's really all I was expecting.

The porch is awesome. I spent most of the time out there!

My only complaint would be there are some dogs at the neighbor homes who liked to bark early in the morning at each other. But they stayed quiet at night!

Owner's Response: Thank you. We do what we can on our property to make it suitable for our guest. We apologize about the dogs in the neighborhood. We hate to lose a star on a review do to conditions we can not control.
