Easy access to farmer's market, Main Street, restaurants, mountain attractions

Welcome to our home. Our one-level easily accessible home includes a relaxing screened-in porch with a very nice view of the surrounding mountains, a relaxing front porch with adirondack chairs (perfect for your morning or afternoon coffee as you watch the hummingbirds, cardinals and other native birds feast from our feeders), a garage and room enough for two couples or a small family. There are no steps in the home or on the walkway leading to the front door. Our rates are very reasonable for the area. My husband and I are currently living in Mexico where I am teaching at a university. Waynesville is a wonderful town in a beautiful part of the Smoky Mountains. Our location is an in-town location that is convenient to everything. If you send us a message, we can call you from Mexico to answer any questions you may have. Our home is close to the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and an easy day-trip to Cherokee, the Great Smoky Mountains and Asheville. Asheville is approximately 25-30 minutes away. There are numerous scenic hiking trails of varying difficulties in the area. Waynesville historic downtown includes art galleries and numerous stores featuring the work of local artisans. Haywood's Historic Farmers' Market features local "producer only" produce, meats, herbs, plants and local heritage crafts. The market is less than a mile from our home and is open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Waynesville hosts numerous festivals and downtown events including downtown Mountain Street Dances, Art after Dark, the Smoky Mountain Folk Festival, the Church Street Art and Craft Show, Folkmoot USA and the Apple Festival. We use the Greenville SC (GSP) and the Asheville (AVL) airports when traveling to and from Waynesville. Charlotte's airport is about 2.5 hours away. We are confident you will love our home. We have a local Waynesville contact who will be available during your stay to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We provide everything you need for your stay including linens, a fully equipped kitchen, sugar, salt, pepper, dishwashing detergent, laundry supplies, paper towels, bath soap, shampoo, and hair dryer. We have Direct TV, high-speed wireless internet and a phone so that you can call us in Mexico without a charge in case you have questions or a problem.
