About the property

Mountain Views 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 8

Mountain Rose Chalet, Enjoy the most stunning views of golf course, pond, and mountains beyond from this gorgeous Home perched above 17 th green.

Located only 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway, it`s nearly 3000` above sea level, and with its southerly exposure, you`ll enjoy summer shade, or winter sunshine in the main area. The house has a nice open feel with great flow, lots of counter space, formal dining area and living room overlooking the 17th green. Central a/c in summer and fireplace in fall and winter make this a most spectacular perch to sit and enjoy the views below and beyond. Close enough to hear choice words when they miss their putts! You can sit and enjoy the rushing sounds of water from your own water fall or sit by the fire making smores. Sit and read a book on a swing or rock yourself to sleep in one of many rocking chairs. This is a place where you can definitely RELAX and RECHARGE!

The cabin is only 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost #344, and is about as close to Mt Mitchell as you can get without camping in a tent!! You`re also only an hour from Asheville and its Biltmore Estate

Great house in wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in house whole week in August. The house is spacious and beautiful. There was enough room for everyone and enough activities around. House is nicely stocked with dishes, towels, blankets and everything else needed. We have enjoyed sun room, deck and fire pit. We had slight problems with wireless, but owners were very accommodating in helping us solve the problem.

The golf course right across the house is beautiful and it even offered option to walk around and feed fish in South Toe river. We were even able to ride bikes, once golfers were gone. We will definatelly be back if we are in the area again.
