Lake Mi Beachfront, Stunning Views, Private Beach, Serene Natural Setting
About Gina McFadden
I have been coming "Up North" my whole life. As a child I played on the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, climbed the dunes, and splashed in the rivers and lakes that grace the area. As an adult, I now watch my two girls enjoy the same magical experiences of my childhood. I manage two properties in the area - one on Platte Lake and one on Good Harbor. My passion is to help you and your family/friends enjoy the stunning beauty that is Northern Michigan.
Gina McFadden purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Gina McFadden chose Lake Leelanau
Panoramic views of Good Harbor and Manitou Islands, pristine sand, private frontage, cozy cottage charm, close to Glen Arbor and Leland. Natural beauty of the area, while being close to great food, shopping and sight-seeing.

Great waterfront cottage!
Lovely cottage on Lake Michigan with waterfront deck and floor to ceiling windows in both the large living/dining room and the large master bedroom with fantastic water view. Great location! No beach when we were there due to very high lake levels but enjoyed sitting on the deck or, when chilly or wet, in the living room looking at the beautiful water and sunsets. Kitchen and baths are small but fine. Other bedrooms are great for kids with twin beds and no view. We also especially enjoyed hiking and biking in nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
This was a great visit for us. The house was wonderful and the view was awesome. Gina (owner) was extremely quick to respond and checked in with us upon arrival to see if we needed anything. The house was clean and inviting, as was the great deck off the back. We would highly recommend this house.
This property has great views of the big lake and is a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes parks.
My family enjoyed our stay at this property. The water is still extremely cold at the first of June. If we decide to come here again we will book later in the summer.
Had a blast!
We really enjoyed our recent stay. The property was fantastic, and was everything advertised and then some! In my opinion, what makes this property so special (in addition to the view and being right on the lake!), is that it is centrally located to so many different things that if you want to get out and explore, you are not any further than 15 minutes from any of them.
Gina does a fantastic job of making sure you have everything you need for your stay. I would highly recommend this property and hope to make another visit sometime soon!
You feel special here
The is our second time here, and we will visit again. The owner makes you feel very welcome and like an honored guest. The windows in the house highlight this fantastic view of the lake.
Perfect Chilly Fall Get Away
We loved this place. Beautiful picture windows facing the lake, close to Leland, Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay. Well tended older cabin with just enough space, comfortable furniture, open plan kitchen/living room for good conversations while cooking together. Weather was cold/sleet with stunning sunsets: the kind of place where you'd love to cozy up and sit on the couch and watch the waves roll in (which is what we did most of the week). If the weather was better, we would have loved sitting on the porch or wading in the water down at the beach. Great rocky beach area and picnic table.
Five minute drive into Leeland and historic Fishtown.
