Why Carolyn MacMahon chose Mena
This darling "Tiny House" is just like you see on TV. Very unique log-sided cabin, compact, but with everything you need. Close enough to town to pop in for shopping or eating out, but in its own private spot with wooded hills front and back, and a live stream.
What makes this Cabin unique
Close enough to Mena for easy eating out or shopping, yet you can ride or walk into the National Forest right from the cabin. There is a live stream, big shade trees, grassy area room to kick a ball, enjoy the view of wooded hillside. Privacy, yet close enough to walk to other cabins if you come with others who rent Woodhaven or Maple Glen RV.

We enjoyed our stay. Especially good communication with property manager.
You were great guests.
Nice and clean!
Very clean and welcoming!
Thank you for being great guests!
Great tiny house!
My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Sunnybrook Cottage. My husband and I shared the bedroom, and each of our girls had their own loft where they had room to sleep and keep their bags. They often played quietly in the lofts alone or together. It was like having their own rooms. The house held everything we needed. There is even a small closet in the bedroom to hang clothes. We found a lot to do in the area at the various state parks (river and mountain adventures) and the town of Mena had both shopping and plenty of restaurants. We even loved the city pool in Mena, which had a diving board and 2 water slides. The town is relaxed, friendly, and clean. Carolyn is a wonderful hostess and seemed to have thought of everything. If you are looking for a cabin in the woods where you can relax and get away from the pressures of life - this is a great place to stay!
These were ideal guests—we hope to host them again!
Cute tiny home
The owners are great. Met us as soon as we got there to welcome us and show us around. Unfortunately we were only there for the night, but I would like to try it again under better circumstances.
We hope you can come for a longer stay, and we are sorry you were in town for a funeral.
Has everything you need and it's a short distance to all the little shops!
The owner's are very accommodating! We will come back!
Sunnybrook was like a sigh and a warm blanket.
The owners are so courteous and welcoming and the property is everything it is advertised to be. My son and I enjoyed 4 days and 3 nights of warmth, peace, hiking, and relaxing. We played games, and worked puzzles and followed the suggestions in the book that Tom and Carolyn had for guests to use in finding activities in the area. We ate at the Chopping Block and the Branding Iron (both were wonderful), visited Cossatok falls (my son fell in the water twice and I dropped my phone in the deepest part but it was still a great time), and drove up the mountain to Queen Wilehmenia lodge and saw the views. Levi didn't want to leave. He loved the lofts and expended a great deal of energy going up and down the stairs/ladder to the lofts. This was so much better than a hotel and so warm of a place in the decoration and appeal. I look for us to be back.
Thanks for the great words! Glad you and Levi enjoyed your trip.
