Visit this charming 2 bedroom 1 bath 750 sq ft very private guest house rental available 2 blocks from Venice Beach. This newly refurbished bungalow is centrally located on the island of Venice. The town center with restaurants and shopping, tennis and basketball courts are all within an easy 15 minute walk.

The guest house sleeps 4, but is ideally suited for 2 with occasional visitors. The master bedroom includes a queen bed with a full bed in the guest room, Both rooms have plenty of closet space. A fully appointed kitchen, great room with flat screen TV, CD player, and enclosed sunroom complete the rental. The rental owner lives in an adjacent historic house.

Basic cable TV and wireless internet are included in the cost of the rental. Washer and dryer are provided and are accessed through adjoining structure. Off the street, single space, uncovered parking is provided. For greener renters, bicycles, clothesline, and composting are available.

Rental is by the calendar month.

We ave owned and rented this property since 1992 and live in an adjacent historic home. We rent only during our "tourist season" because we like to travel off season and want to be available to our renters for help with any problems.

This is a very energy efficient unit, but energy and water conservation are encouraged. There is a $100 allowance for each for each month. Use in excess of this allowance will be deducted from the security deposit. This policy is really designed to keep renters from running the heat or air conditioning with the windows open. Who would do that?

Washer and dryer are located in an adjacent garage. On the plus side, it doesn't take away from floor space in the cottage. On the minus side, it is a garage...

In our years of renting this unit, we have never had to withhold return of a security deposit.

February monthly rate prorated to 28 days...$3173.

This season, 2015-2016, the beds, refrigerator,stove, great room couch, and dining set are all new.
