Older property, but pretty nice
I've used AirBnB and Homeaway many times, but not in NYC. At first the property was lower than my expectations, but overall it was a fine property and the property manager was extremely nice. Renting in NYC is pretty unique and most places are rather small. I guess I just didn't quite realize how the property is tucked away and it was a bit older than I realized. But it was clean despite the age. Would be nice if there were a little more space in the freezer for ice, etc.
Moldy Sewer Smell Was Awful
The place smelled like mold and sewage the entire stay. We kept the fans on 100% of the time and avoided the place as much as possible. The owner had to have know of the problem as the courtyard of the building had the same stench. Great location but major issues of mildew and terrible smellls.
Absolutely amazing in every way.
Amazing in literally every way. Excellent checking in. Michael is so sweet and helpful. Property is within a block of anything you want. Apartment was spotless typical NY apartment. Will definitely stay here again. Many thanks.
Location of this property is great. Property is old so just remember that when booking your visit.
Family get away.
Good location, loved having 2 bathrooms and sleeping room for many people.
Great Location and works well for a family!
This apartment is in a really great location. Short walk to restaurant row, Times Square, Subway, Broadway Shows, etc. Clean and comfortable. This is not the Ritz, and if you expect that you'll be disappointed. It is an older building and shows its age (cracked and loose tiles on the floor, noisy radiator, slow to warm up hot water). Our family of 5 had a comfortable stay and our only complaint was the noise from the adjoining businesses and those staying in the building. If you sleep on the futon, you'll be woken in the morning by people clomping down the stairs and at night you'll hear the workers at the businesses across the courtyard a bit. That being said, there was no street noise and for NYC the noise level wasn't bad. I recommend a white noise machine. We would stay here again.
Times Square, Broadway shows, Theater district, Central Park, Hell's Kitchen bars and restaurants.
