Cozy cottage in the country with full kitchen, full bath, 1 queen bed
Robin and Sim are lifelong artists, avid gardeners, and outdoor enthusiasts. In 2012 they retired from nearly 20 years of owning a retail art supply store in Santa Rosa. In addition to Parkside Cottage, they now own an art gallery in Santa Rosa, Chroma Gallery at 312 South A Street, Santa Rosa. http://chromagallery.net/ Sim teaches art classes and workshops at the gallery, and both enjoy working in their extensive organic garden, or hiking, biking & kayaking in nearby Spring Lake and Annadel Parks. Sim is a native of Chicago, but after living in Sonoma County since the '70's he qualifies as a native. Robin is a native Californian hailing from the Monterey Peninsula, and has also lived in Sonoma County since the '70's. Since 1994, they have been the careful stewards of their charming 1 acre property and are delighted to share it with visitors.

What makes this Cabin unique
The location of our property lets us enjoy a natural setting while being close to town, which cuts down on the time spent driving. At home, with the sounds of the creek, the birds, and the closeness of the park, we always feel 'away from it all.'

Great value and super host
This home was so well thought out and had everything one could want. Yes, it is small, but is well designed, very clean, and you couldn’t ask for a quieter place. We can’t wait to return
Has everything you need to enjoy wine country! We especially loved the cute little kitchenette and garden. Robin was wonderful!
Robin and the cottage are the best!
I loved staying in the cottage and the whole property was special, the gardens, the patio, all of it. Robin is an outstanding host, she cared about me as her guest and was very thoughtful. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!
Nice out of the way cottage.
We had a nice time and enjoyed the cottage. The owner talked to us when we arrived, but did not bother us during our stay. We would stay there again.
Wonderful quiet property.
The cottage is a wonderful quiet place to stay in a rural garden setting. I would not hesitate to stay here, again.
Santa Rosa Cottage
Location wasn’t exactly what we had hoped, but it wasn’t bad for what we were looking for either. We spent 2 nights and were barely there other than to sleep and shower. No bells or whistles but the bed was comfortable. Never met the property owner but he seemed quite nice through email communication.
Located at the entrance to Valley of the Moon, with dozens of world class wineries within a ten mile radius. Hike or bike directly into Spring Lake Park and Annadel State Park.
