Cozy cottage in the country with full kitchen, full bath, 1 queen bed
Robin and Sim are lifelong artists, avid gardeners, and outdoor enthusiasts. In 2012 they retired from nearly 20 years of owning a retail art supply store in Santa Rosa. In addition to Parkside Cottage, they now own an art gallery in Santa Rosa, Chroma Gallery at 312 South A Street, Santa Rosa. http://chromagallery.net/ Sim teaches art classes and workshops at the gallery, and both enjoy working in their extensive organic garden, or hiking, biking & kayaking in nearby Spring Lake and Annadel Parks. Sim is a native of Chicago, but after living in Sonoma County since the '70's he qualifies as a native. Robin is a native Californian hailing from the Monterey Peninsula, and has also lived in Sonoma County since the '70's. Since 1994, they have been the careful stewards of their charming 1 acre property and are delighted to share it with visitors.

What makes this Cabin unique
The location of our property lets us enjoy a natural setting while being close to town, which cuts down on the time spent driving. At home, with the sounds of the creek, the birds, and the closeness of the park, we always feel 'away from it all.'

Great Cottage. Great experience.
Great Hideaway Retreat
We have stayed at the Cottage several times over the past few years. It is located on a quiet street, walking distance to Spring Lake, short drive to downtown and local eateries and wineries. The room is small, yet has all the amenities one would need. Well stocked kitchen, spices, condiments, 2 burner cooktop, small fridge, comfortable queen size bed, bathroom amenities, A/C, heater. The Cottage also includes access to the entire grounds... propane BBQ, patio table/chairs, outdoor sofa, safe stair access to creek, and we have always been told to "help yourself to the garden veggies". My favs are the fresh figs! We are repeat customers because we love it here and feel at home away from home. If you have never stayed here, give it a try. You will love the peace & tranquility, and the very hospitable hosts! Just don't take the days we want lol! 😊
First Visit to Santa Rosa
What an amazing trip!!! This was my first visit to Santa Rosa and my first experience with VRBO. Robin and Simmon were great hosts. The cottage was perfect and just the right size for a couple. The location was ideal to visit wineries in Sonoma and Healdsburg. We grilled two nights we were there and napped in the hammock a few times. Spring Hill Lake across the street has walking trails that we hit every morning. We saw deer, wild turkeys, grouse and swans - pretty amazing!
We will definitely visit here again and I highly recommend this picturesque cottage to anyone! Perfect vacation and perfect way to spend my birthday!!!
Gem of Santa Rosa
The cottage was perfect. We enjoyed our coffee outside in the morning. The homegrown tomatoes were yummy. The location of the property was wonderful. We felt very safe. It is within in walking distance of Spring Lake. You can’t beat the price for what you get. We will staying here on our next visit! Thank you Robin.
quite and clean
This is a great cottage in the country. Quiet and there is a garden to get a few tomatoes..yum..Nice sitting area outside for having tea and relaxing.
Located at the entrance to Valley of the Moon, with dozens of world class wineries within a ten mile radius. Hike or bike directly into Spring Lake Park and Annadel State Park.
