About Lauren Wright

We are former innkeepers (almost 15 years with our B&B in Flagstaff), so we know just how to take care of our travelers. Our B&B was consistently ranked very high in the Flagstaff area by both Trip Advisor and Bed and We decided after selling our B&B, that we didn't want to completely retire from the hospitality field, so we are opening this lovely home to some old friends that stayed with us at our B&B and also hopefully to lots of new friends!

Lauren Wright purchased this house in 2015

Why Lauren Wright chose Arizona

Although we are not in the Flagstaff city limits, you are not very far (a vehicle IS strongly recommended) from town -- just a short drive -- but the benefits are many. You are literally in the forest, not far from the National Forest and a forest road for hiking and biking. Our home is comfortable and extremely cost effective especially for 2 or 3 couples traveling together or a family that normally has to reserve two hotel rooms.

Perfect Stay For Our Family!

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Conifer Lodge during Fall break. Lauren is a wonderful host and has thoughtfully stocked the home with everything you need to pamper your family. The location can't be beat as it is in the pines, but only about 10 minutes to Flagstaff. Comments from our family included "I loved the decorations", "the shower is wonderful, and the water stayed warm", "plenty of comfortable blankets", and "loved grilling on the backyard Gazebo". We enjoyed our visits to Walnut Canyon, Snow Bowl ski area (the turning leaves were spectacular), West Fork Trail in Oak Creek Canyon with lunch at the Banjo Bill creekside picnic area and coffee in Sedona. We will definitely consider Conifer Lodge for future family vacations!

Thumbs up to the comfortable Conifer Lodge in Kachina Village, Arizona

  • 4 of 5

Traveling from New York State, our family spent five days at the comfortable Conifer Lodge. With an accurate online description and pictures, we found the the kitchen had ample spices, plates, glasses, and utensils; the bathroom: soaps, lotions, hairdryer and tissues; there were places to join together, yet grab some time alone. Snacks and homemade granola were available upon our arrival, all of which were much appreciated. The lodge was well maintained....immaculate cleaning was obvious without it being a place where you were afraid to move. Lauren communicated quickly, thoughtfully and thoroughly. We requested a slight shift in dates due to a work schedule change for one of our family members and Lauren took it all in stride responding within hours. She greeted and oriented us upon arrival and communicated quickly when we had questions during our stay. She made sure the trash and recycling were removed from the lodge while we were away for the day and left a note making sure we knew how to use the SMART TV. We cooked in as much as we ate out as the lodge provided us the opportunity for both. The drive to Flagstaff was less than 15 minutes so we enjoyed and recommend the following nearby eateries: Mart Anns, Pad Thai, The Tourist Home and Proper Meats. The neighborhood provided heart-pumping, pine-scented, aerobic walks. We visited the Grand Canyon, some family members hiked Mount Humphrey while others took the ski lift up that mountain then shopped and grabbed coffee in Flag on a sunny and gorgeous October afternoon. We all recommend the Conifer Lodge as an inviting, welcoming and comfortable vacation home in Kachina Village, Arizona. Thanks Lauren and David for sharing your lovely home and hospitality!

Great Family Time

  • 5 of 5

We had three genertions staying at this beautiful lodge. My parents who are in their mid to late 80's, my son and his wife and of course my husband and myself. It was comfortable and very roomy to accommodate everyone. Lauren was the ultimate hostess and owner! The lodge was clean, provided all the necessities and had extremely comfortable beds! Breakfast was great on the patio each morning! Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay while we visited all the beautiful sites around Flagstaff.

The cabin was in a great location for visiting Flagstaff and attending our sons NAU graduation.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was warm and cozy and comfortable. Lauren had complimentary snacks, coffee, and water plus toiletries. The surroundings around the house was nice and they built a gazebo in the back . The house is very nicely decorated and very well equip with linens and towels. I would suggest to add more supplies in the kitchen for example add a couple skillets. Overall, your house was an awesome place we all loved your house.
