Great family stay
This house was a great location in Kissimmee. The pool was great and fenced in yard was a perk. Lots of space and bedrooms perfect for families. The beds were very comfortable!
Amazing place to stay!!
Loved it at casa luna. Was perfect in every way. The description and pictures were matched and exactly how we wanted and what we needed for our vacation. The neighborhood was clean and beautiful. The house was absolutely amazing. Everything was so clean and a mother of 5s dream. The pool was the kids favorite part. Just big enough for the 7 of us. The house was perfect and if we ever go to Florida again we will be staying at casa luna again. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much Tricia for being such fabulous guests! We would love to have you visit with us again . We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer !
The pictures don't lie!
This home was easy to find and just as pictured. It was a little further out, but not a bad drive from all of the Orlando attractions. While it isn't brand new, it is spacious, comfortable and reasonably well maintained. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, some of the furniture was worn, but having had rentals ourselves, we can attest to the fact that furnishings take a lot of abuse in rentals. The pool wasn't perfectly clean when we got there, but it was late on a Friday afternoon so we opted to take the skimmer and clean it ourselves as opposed to calling the homeowners. All of our communications with Julie and Shane were cordial and we would definitely stay there again!
Thank you Vivian. We do take pride in our home and have recently done many upgrades such as granite countertops. We cannot fix the issues that guests don’t tell us about that’s why we always strongly encourage guests to let us know immediately if they find any issues so that we can remedy them. we look forward to your next booking !
There were 10 of us that stayed at Julie and Shane’s beautiful home this past week. Just wanted to say how clean, beautiful and spacious this house was. It had everything we needed and more... From a blender to waffle maker to plenty of towels. The pool was clean and perfect temp for adults and the kids. We even met the landscaper who did a perfect job and he was the nicest guy around... I would highly recommend to anyone, and already can’t wait to go back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home Julie and Shane and Sara ;)
Thank you Katrina, Phil and family for being our guests for the week! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you come back again!
My husband and I needed to get away from the cold.. arrived to Julie and Shane's home and felt at home immediately ! Great communication with them and was very happy for that!! Quiet place and pool was amazing. Very private!! I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Julie and Shane for sharing your home with us. We spent every day all day there.!! Wonderful!! 👍

Home is average and way overpriced.
We loved the pool and lanai. The pool heat worked perfectly. The home layout was ok. Nice to have the master on the other side of the house. The cleanliness and maintenance were not anywhere near standards. When we started to unpack we had to vacuum out the drawers. The furniture is in terrible condition and not one seat was comfortable for more than one tv show. It is all broken and filthy. The recliner was so gross we put it in the room we didn’t use. The mattresses were so loud that one of the four adults had to sleep on the bunk bed because every time her husband moved, it woke her. It sounded like the bed was full of pop cans. That was the queen bed. The king wasn’t as bad, but was rediculous also. The double was the best bed. Don’t even consider opening the trundle bed. It is disgustingly filthy. They have a lot of pots and pans, but you cannot get the burnt on grease off them to feel good about using them. I texted Julie many times to let her know what was going on. She responded quickly. I askedfor the code to use the lawnmower but within a few days a guy showed up and cut the weeds He also weedwhacked the yard and cut the entire length of one side of the lanai screen. The guy also created so much dirt that the top screen dripped dirty rain and dew water into the pool and deck for the next three days. I washed the pool furniture and deck three times more than we should have. I expected to do it only weekly. I advised Julie that the ice maker wasn’t working on day two. It never got repaired. The garage door does not click closed and exhaust from your vehicle enters the home. The door from the pool to the bathroom doesn’t work. She said they ordered a new door but that was bull. It is a handle issue. The vertical blinds on the kitchen and dining room patio doors fell off the first time we tried to open them. Julie said she ordered new ones which meant she was aware of the problem but just ignored advising us. A door shelf in the fridge fell out on us. Could have been our fault or just previously broken or installed wrong. We don’t know for sure, but I advised Julie of it as soon as it happened. I could go on, but I am running out of remaining characters. This home could be so much more but the owners have dollar signs in there eyes instead of getting things right. Truly a shame. Accusing your tenants of stealing a pillow and comforter is a joke. 3 huge dogs behind house bark all the time if they hear or see you through the fence. Mark
This review was written in anger and filled with inaccuracies. We take an incredible amount of pride in our home, which is very accurately shown by the pictures in this listing. We have recently painted every room in the entire home, installed tile floors, granite countertops, replaced sliding doors, new refrigerator, dryer, and much more. We know that the home cannot be perfect all the time, but we always ask our guests to please let us know about any issues so we can fix them asap.
Prior to Mark checking in, we had just finished painting. My husband and I cleaned the home top to bottom ourselves. A few days after he checked in, he called to say the brand new towel rack in the bathroom "fell off" and the icemaker was not working. We went out to the house and the towel rack was torn off the wall with a big hole in the new wall we had just painted. The icemaker in the relatively new fridge was not working, so we called the appliance repair and they ordered a new icemaker and it's scheduled to be replaced on 4/12/19. We also told Mark that we had ordered new rails for the blinds and were waiting for them to come in. Mark was angry he couldn’t get his Canadian Sports channel on our cable tv system, something out of our control. Despite all of this, Mark texted telling us how much they loved the house and asked about available dates for next year.
We have both a pool service and lawn service that cares for the property. Guests are never asked to mow the lawn nor are they given access to a lawn mower.
When Mark checked out, we discovered he shattered the door shelf of the refrigerator. It had nothing to do with being installed incorrectly, it was clearly damage done by him or his party. We also discovered that 2 new pillows and the queen comforter were taken from the home. Mark left their old yellow stained pillows and took the brand new pillows we purchased from Kohl’s home with him. We are professional people, and we tried to work it out peacefully with him, without leaving negative reviews or keeping money from his damage deposit. He became irate and started calling us vulgar names and making threats. Shane and I do not do business that way, so we took the hit and Mark had his security deposit returned. Homeowners should not have the fear that raising issues with guests will result in retaliation and lies on a review. We are very lucky in that we have had some amazing guests that are very respectful of our home, unfortunately Mark was not one of them.
