Why Marty Casey chose Jamestown
The cottage is maintained and updated to ensure our guests are comfortable and will enjoy their stay. The cottage is featured in an historical book published by a local historian. Conveniently located near direct roads but removed enough to enjoy island tranquility. Guests can enjoy their own deck, back yard, and living areas without distraction from other vacationers as in a shared complex or building.
What makes this Cottage unique
The cottage is set close to water front access areas and other family style activities. For those that want nightlife ...you can be in Newport in 7 minutes! Close to the town center and great restaurants. All the amenities of an apartment or condo but you have the privacy of your own house. A quiet neighbor hood with only a few single family residences nearby.

We loved our cozy Jamestown cottage. Clean, well appointed, comfortable beds in a great location!
Charming cottage in good location. Owner is easy to deal with. Place is clean and well supplied with essentials such as WD, BBQ grill and Outdoor shower !
Every year, my mom and I choose a new getaway for a week vacation and like to stay in a cabin of cottage. This year we were exceptionally pleased with our choice. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and close to everything we wanted to explore yet quiet and private. We would highly recommend this cottage.
We enjoyed our stay in Jamestown and at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable and looked just as portrayed in picture. Enjoyed walking down the street to the water and some magnificent homes and a concert in Jamestown one evening, shopping and eating in local restaurants. Loved how close it was to Newport.
Loved this cottage. So close to restaurants, shopping and the ferry which we took twice to Newport. So much better than driving across the bridge. "Downtown" Jamestown is so close that my husband actually walked into town every morning. Lots of room for two couples and the outdoor shower was wonderful. The front porch was great for having coffee in the morning and the back porch was nice for evening meals. It was super hot the week we were there so the window air conditioner was a life saver for sleeping at night in the master bedroom. The window a/c in the living room helped tremendously with the rest of the cottage. Thanks Martin for thinking of your renters. We would defintely return.
Very professional owner
This worked out well for my elderly father who couldn't take the steps in our nearby house. This is a clean and well taken care of property. The owner was happy to answer my questions both before and during my father's stay. I recommend this property!
The island of Jamestown is situated with ocean frontage and frontage on Narragansett Bay...one of the best bays on the east coast for boating, swimming, fishing and any water activities. The island is about 2 miles across the bay from historic Newport - easily traveled to via New England's largest suspension bridge. Farm land, numerous water access areas and beaches, fine restaurants, several state parks, golf course, marinas and coffee shops make Jamestown a wonderful vacation spot.
