Army Gals Weekend
Our group of Retired Army Nurses enjoyed our stay at Paragon Perch in Mid-Sept after choosing the Boston area for this years get away. The check-in process was simple and we immediately felt at home. There were plenty of beds to choose from with gorgeous views from all the bedrooms. Linens and towels were plenitful and blankets and comforters kept us warm on the chilly first night. We did need to use the fireplace and second floor heater and they warmed the house nicely after the property manager promptly came to light them when requested. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The location was great, too. the beach was easily in walking distance. The home was centrally located between the Hull and Hingham ferries and we used both to travel to Boston and It was convenient for one of our party to even use from the airport. The Hingham Lobster Pound was great for ordering lobsters already steamed (with 2 hour notice) for us to have a great seafood dinner at the house. We took a tour of the Hull Life Saving Station and found it fascinating. The on street parking was a little awkward but nothing that wasn't managable. When it was time to leave we were all glad that we had chosen Paragon Perch for our stay.
Nice Place for a Crowd
We were in Hull for a wedding, and it was great having a house that could sleep 12. There a several living rooms and a second floor deck, so lots of places to gather and chat.
Lovely Family Vacation Home in a Lively Locale
This area was surprisingly full of fun and exciting family activities. We were there for a wedding and with rundown hotels costing about the same nightly rate, we highly recommend Paragon Perch. This property housed our 10 total guests with an entire floor and several beds to spare. This location is so close to the action downtown and near the beach, but is far enough away on a dead-end street to enjoy peace and quiet, especially at night. The house has all the amenities we could need! Landlords were very helpful when we had questions, but not at all intrusive. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was heaven! Thank you very much! We had an awesome time!
Fun in Nantucket
We had fun in the Hull property and it served it’s purpose for our family event. I felt I was misrepresented because it does not have air-conditioning and the appliances are not new as it explains in the description.
So close to the beach
The house is typically american, Nice front porch to enjoy the view at night. The owner answers as soon as you have a question. Good neighborhood. We brought our dogs, they had a backward to play in! The beach is on a 2 minute walk. There is some restaurants around. Overall a really Nice place to stay in!
Loved our stay
We had a great stay. They supplied plenty of towels so it was not an issue that we did not have a washer and dryer. Also, laundry facilities were really close. The house was stocked so it was nice not to have to bring household items. The view of the water is amazing. From the deck and front porch. The only thing I wished they had would have been a driveway and not street parking.
Nantasket Beach, a 5 mile stretch of soft sand and crystal clear ocean is a mere 3 minute walk. As the tide recedes it transforms into a virtual playground for the kids. You can step from the sand to any one of several beachfront restaurants/bars, also a short walk from the house. Oceanfront dining choices range from pizza and beer to fine dining, the freshest seafood as well as takeout for dinner on the beach. Walk to the Carousel for a ride on this Historic gem from the past then have a home made ice cream cone right next door.
Ferries will take you to Boston in just 20 minutes, arriving at Quincy Market, a shopping and dining mecca along Boston's waterfront on the Freedom Trail. Take a short walk to the North End, Boston's Little Italy and visit the Old North Church of Paul Revere fame or dine at one
of the many authentic Trattorias.
Visit Plimoth Plantation, a re-creation of the original Pilgrim Village, a 40 minute drive. And while there board the Mayflower replica on Plymouth's beautiful harbor.
Plan an evening at the Music Circus, an outdoor theater in the round and enjoy such performers as Tony Bennett, The Irish Tenors and the Boston Pops to name a few.
Attend free evening and Sunday concerts at the Beachfront Bandstand, play golf at South Shore Country Club or browse the quaint shops in Hull Village.
