Center of the City Luxury Apartment

The apartment is located perfectly in the center of Budapest, close to the major attractions and public transportation. Very easy to get anywhere and a great apartment by Budapest standards. It is entered by going into a locked courtyard, with many entrances to buildings with apartments. There is a front and a back entrance to the courtyard, one of which is right across the street from the Great Synagogue. There are several locks and keys to use to get in.

The rooms are awkwardly arranged with the sleeping areas lined up in a row with French doors between. They each have another exit door as well. These rooms have exterior windows that can provide good lighting but the kitchen and living area are on interior walls. Two balconies were such that you really couldn't sit on them, but you could stand and look out. TV was great as we were able to watch the end of FEDEX golf tournament. The kitchen was provided with the necessities for cooking, although we did not cook there. The coffee maker is for making expresso, so we did not use that as we are used to brewed coffee makers. There is a great local coffee place across the street called Mon Cheri and a Starbucks half a block away.

Bathrooms are very new and updated. Overall, the apartment was in good shape but dated. It is a very old, traditional building with high ceilings. Could use a good cleaning under the beds.

This place is perfectly located! Walk to the ruin bars, river, central public transportation, castle, etc. Very clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Family of 8 very comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Apartment was spacious and clean. We were able to walk to the river in a few minutes. Many places to eat nearby and directly across the street from the Jewish Synagogue.

Great location and a beautiful apartment! Right across the street from the Delany Street Synagogue and easy access to shops, clubs, restaurants, museums, the river, etc.

My only issue was that I barely made it into the tiny elevators with my wheelchair.

As I mentioned in the title the location of this property is second to none. It is less than a 15 minute walk down to the Danube River / water front from the apartment . Word of advice obey pedestrian lights at crossings as Hungarian drivers do not yield for pedestrians. The waterfront area is full of quaint Hungarian restaurants. Even with the presence of several River Cruise ships we never had to wait to get an unobstructed view of the Danube . We had a total of 6 family members stay with us and we never felt crowded or cramped . Plenty of hot water for showers and with 6 people the 2 washrooms with showers came in very handy . The wifi was great and reliable , the weather was on the damp rainy side so we can't comment on the AC . The apartment was well equipped with all amenities such as a washer and dryer ( not common in Europe ) dishwasher etc . We would highly recommend this apartment !
