Immaculate well manicured gardens accent the entire property to give it a tropical feeling of being your home away from home.

The views of Tamarindo beach, the warm Pacific, Tamarindo estuary and the Baulas National Park at Playa Grande are truly breathtaking. You are overlooking the huge free form pool and tropical gardens.

Both bedrooms are en-suite. The master suite has a king bed and the guest suite has a queen bed and a large Single bed. The furnishings are all new and of exceptional quality.

Enjoy your ocean views from the leather sofas in the great room and watch TV on a 50' LED flat screen. There is an i-Pod dock, surround sound and of course, Hi-speed Wi-Fi internet service.

The kitchen features new Hi-end stainless appliances and all of the cookware, dishes and cutlery you could want.

The bathrooms feature beautiful granite vanities, tubs with showers and each come with bath towels, beach towels and hair blowers.

You have your own utility room with washer and dryer as well as an ironing board and iron.

This home as been decorated with attention to detail as well as anticipating your every need.

We bought the property for our retirement. My husband is an Engineer and I am

a Psychologist. Both born in Canada and traveled to Costa Rica because we had

heard so many positive aspects of the country. It is the most stable and longest

running democracy in Central America. The people are kind and have a friendly outlook

toward foreigners. We would be so happy to share our lovely home with guests and hope

they come to love Tamarindo as much as we do.

Tamarindo again for us!!

This is the 6th time we have come to Tamarindo to enjoy the sea and surf. The Condo we rented is first class, where can you get Persian carpets and free Wi-Fi with the best view. We have frequented most of the restaurants locally. There is a new one called Russell's Steak just 50 meters south of Supermercado 2001 toward Langosta.

It is just fabulous with great surf and turf! New wrist bands needed for free movement around complex but easy to access beach and pools. Love this place.

Great Condo, Great Location – Horrible Property Manager

I would never rent the condo again because of the property manager, Joel Hookerman. We had so many bad experiences and our pain was nothing close to as bad as what our neighbors share with us - that he kicked them out of their unit early because he screwed up and double booked their unit – then he put them in a lesser unit in older building with no refund – promising just some sort of food credit. They said they couldn’t leave review because of the changes he made on VRBO site (I don’t know about that though but I told them I would mention the issue for them).

Our experience: 1) Contract was for ½ payment due Nov. balance due in Jan. 1st payment done immediately. No invoice received in Jan. Sent Joel e-mail to check in. He responded that he hadn’t received 1st payment. Less than 12 hours later at 7:30 AM he sent nasty mail. “NOT A PEEP…we want you as a guest, however I have not heard from you yet today. If you have paid your First invoice I need documentation. If you’re not paid in full by the end of business today, your reservation will be canceled. Sorry, but you need to communicate with me in a timely fashion”. I had paid the 1st invoice he sent through Paypal right away yet he had no record and demanded payment proof from me. 2) Upon arrival exact building unclear - no signage. Rang Joel for guidance. He told me to put my husband on the phone – just rude and inappropriate. 3) Day 1 Phoned to ask for 2nd key. Joel tells me they give1 key, that most of the good places did this and that they’d be implementing a fee for a 2nd then criticized renters in general. He finally said he’d bring us a key within 15 minutes. Over 3.5 hours later still no key and friend stuck in condo waiting! Called back and Joel blamed Pica (the local people he hires), said he’d be over in 15, finally arrived in 30. Access cards didn’t work either, asked for 3 new ones, he brought those too but didn’t test them and none of the new ones works (needed for entering property and pool area) 4) Contract specified pre-checkout walkthrough 4 PM day before checkout. Asked Joel to reschedule for 11 AM day of departure. He said ok. Then no one showed up. Waited for 1.25 hours before we had to leave. I would say so much more if I have more than 2500 characters. Bottom line, he was a dark cloud over an otherwise excellent vacation in a beautiful condo

Owner's Response: Gentlepersons, let me preface my Response by by saying this is only the 2nd Review I've received that was less than 5 star and I have eight properties on VRBO. We recommend you look . We take the comfort and enjoyment of our guests seriously and their comments. Heidi R has failed to ever respond to my emails or phone calls, made out of an effort to mitigate her displeasure with me. The other guest Heidi R is referring to has rented with me for several years and will be returning to one of my properties next year. Her coments are hearsay but let me say this about that. I contacted her and returned $1000 USD to her. I was double-booked and put her in a vastly superior property for her lengthy stay. She was well satisfied with our efforts on her behalf. I am still waiting for the author of the above review to call me and I will try to make it right. I apologize if my decorum was not exempllarary . I don't want to get into a "He said, She said moment". I do make mistakes. My computer crashed and for a while I had to ask my guests "if they had paid?". until i reconstructed everything. I ask any of my potential guests to look carefully at all my REVIEWS and form your own opinion. Cheers Joel

Giving Thanks for Thanksgiving in Costa Rica!

Our family of four (children 9 and 11yrs old) decided to travel for Thanksgiving. After researching various rentals - we settled on this condominium. It was fantastic. I always worry that accommodations won't be as presented - but these were great. Excellent space. Lovely bathrooms. Wonderful view from balcony. Beautiful pool on property. Joel - our property contact ensured that our transportation to and from the airport was in place. He also met us on arrival at the condo and provided wonderful details about local food markets, restaurants, and other resources. The beds were a little firm in my opinion -- but that's a small point of preference. The linens, towels and pillows were plentiful and clean. We made use of the barbecue grill on the balcony. We would recommend The Patagonia restaurant and The Surf Shack restaurants and the brick oven pizza place across the main street. The beach and waves never disappoint!

Great Christmas vacation in Tamarindo with the family, first time visit to Costa Rica

My wife researched and booked this condominium well in advance. We looked at many on the web and while there was a lot to choose from this unit fit our budget, timing, desired location and the amenities we wanted. In addition the leasing agent was quite helpful and walked us through everything. We stayed there with our son and daughter who shared the second bedroom. The condominium was exactly as presented in the photos and it truly met all of our needs (if anything the view was a bit understated in the photos). The pool outside the condo is very nice and has a bar that you swim up to. We went over the Christmas holiday and the hotel which you have access to has a significant party at New Years (there is a cost but you are welcome to join the festivities). We had views of the beach so we could see the tide and we had early morning sun each day. The condo had everything in it that we needed and was nicely appointment. The walk to the beach was only five minutes and you are right in the hub of town. Despite being in the hub once you are in the condo you have a great feeling of privacy but beautiful vista. The leasing agent (Joel), sat down with us and greeted us on arrival. He went over where to eat providing his top ten recommendations (and how to get to each one locating them on a map that he brought), and he went over where to get food and other supplies. Joel arranged all the transportation to and from the airport and stood behind everything that he said. When we needed something minor fixed Joel was on it immediately and had it taken care of while we were at the beach. There is every type of food selection that you might need in town, it is quite diverse. If you need ideas on activities, ask Joel who set us up with an amazing driver and guide. It was great to essentially have someone on site that we could talk to if there were problems but also act as a source of reference for us.

Best Early Christmas, Wedding Anniversary Family Celebration, and Early Birthday Gift

We booked the condo several months in advanced. It was everything and more than expected. The leasing agent provided amazing recommendations for food and activities for our stay. He provided staff who assisted with transportation from Liberia. The rental was beautifully appointed and in the center of Tamarindo. Beach access was seconds away. The people were amazing and the food options were international. Our agent recommended Seasons, Pangas, Patagonia, and several other amazing culinary options. If you need assistance with setting up activities the staff are there to hook you up.

All I can say is I wish this was our second home and that our agent is the best!!!

Owner's Response: Those are kind words that were unsolicited. The Diria is one of the best Vacation Destinations in C.R. Our properties are all 5 star. This one was decorated exquisitely with authentic Persian carpets and memorable views.We provide excellent service 24/7. If you require service at 11 PM we can be reached and we come. We will beat any price for a comparable property. I check everyone in myself, giving them the skinny on Tamarindo and the best dining options. Nobody else does that that i know of. You will be treated like royalty and made to feel like family. It pays to talk to us before you book.

Central Location, High quality property

My wife and I stayed here with another couple. The property was in very good condition, had lots of space, and was centrally located in Tamarindo. The condo was walking distance to everything and we had access to the hotel facilities such as the pool and restaurant/bar.

The property manager, Joel, was also very helpful. He provided multiple recommendations for food and entertainment activities. As first-time visitors to the area, this was very helpful and much appreciated.

My wife and I would definitely stay here again.
