Wonderful Apartment with easy commuting access
My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 8 days and it was literally home away for us as so many features reminded us of our home. The apartment was really clean and well laid out from the bedrooms, to the kitchen to the bathroom. Everything was just perfect for us!
The apartment is on the first floor with a very secured access and there is also Wi-fi available.
We benefitted significantly from having a subway just across the street. Earlier reviews suggested that this would make our stay noisy but we were never disturbed by the subway. Actually it was wonderful for our commuting to Manhattan.
Quaizar is a very nice and accommodating landlord. He was very attentive to our needs from the booking process straight through to our departure date.
Overall our stay was fabulous and we look forward to making this our home every time we visit NYC and we would encourage others to do the same.
The Price Was Right. Loved the Subway Convenience.
Overall we found this rental to be very nice and functional. We traveled between Christmas and New Years when everything in Manhattan was renting for much, much more so this was a great deal. This rental is 50-75 minutes via subway from mid-lower Manhattan but the subway stop is right across the street. Noise from the subway was not a problem (like a loud, intermittent wind) but we wore ear plugs to sleep. Noise from other apt-dwellers were the problem. We were on 2nd floor. Stairs are STEEP with narrow tread - 45 degrees, which might be a problem for some. Our apt had not been cleaned very well when we arrived, (soap scum on shower and sink shelves, dust, residue/dust on counters and top of fridge, some hair on floor), but the apartment is beautiful. With a deep cleaning, this would have been lovely. (We mentioned this to management when we were leaving and he offered compensation of 2 free nights.) The towels were thick and we got more when we asked. The linens and pillows were just ok but we were so tired from walking that it didn't matter. Mattresses were starting to slightly sag. Microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher (only two soaps for it) but no toaster. Some trouble with internet connection. Didn't use big tv but nice and large. LOVED the shower heads (all 3 options!). Could have used hooks in the bathroom. One small closet but only a few hangers. Lots of drawer space which was nice. I don't know how one could sleep 6 people in here. Maybe a child on the couch, but 4 is about it. BTW, bring an multi-plug extension cord. Not many outlets for all the electronics nowadays.
Neighborhood is nice with lots of restaurants, drugstores, and grocery stores. Even a meat market. Felt very safe. Look at pics before you arrive so you can identify the entrance. It's on a side street, hidden behind a storefront on the main street. Management was particularly responsive to text messages. I really appreciated that.
What a great property and stay...I highly recommend this property and its manager Quaizar.
I was born and raised in New York and brought 12 members from my church with me to show off my city. I searched long and hard for the right place and struck gold with this property managed by Quaizar. I rented 3 apartments in total in this same building; including the one pictured above. As the other comments mention everything is exactly as described in the listing; it was like staying in a new apartment. And I know how small New York hotels are, so in comparison to those these apartments are very spacious. What I want to focus on in this review is that when you rent this property, you also get Quaizar, which is worth its wait in gold. Quaizar is the definition of what professionalism and customer service is all about. He went above and beyond to ensure that our vacation would be a memorable one. And when you come to the greatest city in the world, you want to enjoy the time you are here. You can trust Quaizar and expect him to come through on everything that is promised. I highly recommend this property, and highly recommend Quaizar as someone you want to do business with. Quaizar, on behalf of everyone in my party…thank you!!!
A Jewel in the crown of Queens
This was our children's first trip to NY and we wanted them to have a great experience. Our initial hotel reservation turned out to be an unexpected disappointment. We contacted the owner at 11am Saturday morning and we were in the apt by 12:30pm. The customer service was excellent, the apartment immaculate. He accomodated us on such short notice and made our trip even more pleasurable than expected. The kitchen and bathroom were top notch laced with the best appliances and facilities. We are looking forward to our next trip to NY and will be in contact with the owner as soon as we have dates locked down. This is our new home away from home!!!!

My friend and I spent 5 nights in Quaizar's beautiful condo. The condo itself had everything we needed. The Satellite TV with movie channels was the perfect way to unwind after a long day on our feet. The wi-fi made it easier for us to keep in touch with our families back home. The beds were comfortable. The shower ranks among the best I have ever had. Quaizar was a perfect host. He had the fridge stocked with milk, juice, water, eggs and bread. Anything we were lacking he would provide without hesitation. Having the subway right across the street was very convenient. It enabled us to park our car and avoid parking fees. The subway ride was just an hour to most of the tourist sites in Manhatten. An hour on the subway beats 30 minutes in a car and outrageous parking fees. Some of the most interesting sites were the people on the subway. Each ride had entertainment, wether it was break dancers, preachers, or just friendly chatty strangers. The restaurants around the condo were excellent and cheap. The convenience store around the corner had excellent breakfast sandwiches for only 3 bucks. There was also a very good Colombian restaurant a block away. Five days was not enough time in NY, so I will definitely be back and I would not hesitate to book with Quaizar again. Thank you my friend!
