2Bed/2Bath in the heart of the Marina

This 1,500 sq-ft flat is the perfect place to explore/enjoy all of San Francisco... on your terms. Very comfortable with updated kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths, and living room to enjoy the 50-inch flat screen TV. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed and large walk-in closet. A convenient laundry room (washer and dryer) is located off the kitchen. Secure garage parking is available.

What’s not to like?

Goldilocks gem of a property, located in the Marina district, provides quick and convenient access to San Francisco’s fabulous attractions. Plan your day from this quiet retreat. Start off with a walk or bike ride along the Marina Green bike and running path just across the street. Veer right to Fort Mason and the Sunday farmers market, also just across the street. Need something for lunch at home? No problem. Safeway is one block around the corner. On your one-block walk to Safeway, stop for a latte with the locals at Starbucks, or the Post Office or a dry cleaners. Did I mention the convenience of the location? Want city hustle and bustle? Try busy Chestnut Street 6 blocks further for unique-to-SF dining and small-shop shopping. Want even more action? Choose from numerous 15-minute walks that land you at Pier 39, or the Palace of Fine Arts, the Presidio, the expansive Crissy Field, and even the promenade to the Golden Gate Bridge. (Pretty cool to walk or bike over the Golden Gate Bridge.)

After your day is done, return to the quiet pleasure of your home away from it all. But not for long. San Francisco's fabled downtown night life will be waiting for you.

Comfortable and Great Location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at Brian's condo for a week in June, 2016 and found the place to be large and very well appointed.

We loved the location!

Brian has thought of just about everything one could need, or might forget to bring.

We also found Brian to be very communicative and quick to reply to any questions we had.

Definitely recommend this property!

Perfect getaway location!

  • 5 of 5

The Beach house was above all expectations. Safe, secure, and close to all nearby attractions. Contact/questions with owner were answered in good time.

Family of 4 stayed over the 4th of July holiday. No Problems with crowds with this location. Nice and quiet!

Both bedrooms were large, with plenty of closet space.

Sectional in living room was awesome spot for an afternoon nap. Kitchen has everything you need.

Would definitely stay again. Thanks!!

Book this place!

This apartment is top notch and you cannot go wrong in choosing it. The first thing we noticed was the natural light streaming in to all of the rooms. It has a pretty view of the Bay from the living room and dining room windows. The apartment has character all over it from what I think is plaster crown moldings to a laundry area with a vintage back door with a little window that opens for ventilation. It is near an active corner, but you can't hear any of the traffic inside. And literally steps away is the Safeway for your basic kitchen needs.

The couch, beds etc are all very comfortable and nicely appointed. The closets are huge. The master bathroom is renovated and beautifully done. The hall bath is beautifully maintained vintage and the apartment is clean and well maintained.

I am not sure if Brian stocks the kitchen or if they are leftover from previous renters, but the basic herbs, spices and oils along with plastic wraps/ziploc bags came in handy. I did bring a few of those things myself, but it was nice not to have to buy them. If you forgot soap and shampoo, there are plenty stocked in the bathrooms as well.

It is only a mile from Fisherman's Wharf and a short walk to some nice restaurants. The location is perfect for many activities. Overall, we would not hesitate to take this apartment again.

Impeccably tidy, beautiful, and conveniently located property

  • 5 of 5

I was so pleased with this rental that I don't even know where to start. The photos and description don't do this property justice. I was pleasantly surprised at how light and airy this condo was. I also found the level of order and cleanliness at this property to be top of the line. I honestly found it much cleaner and nicer than most of my four and five star hotel experiences of late. From the well organized and completely outfitted kitchen cabinets to the neatly stacked towels and toiletries in the bathroom, it was clear that it was a well taken care of property. Linens in the bedroom were also quite nice. It truly felt like the owner wanted us to have the best experience possible. Our communication with the owner was also prompt and courteous. And one issue that came up with adjusting the heating on the Nest thermostat was replied to immediately (& resolved). And the location of the property was super convenient -- with coffee shops, Safeway, waterfront, as well as the shops and restaurants on Chestnut so close too. I will definitely be booking this property again on my next trip through San Francisco.

Comfort and Locaation!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful experience at the Beach House! It was pretty, clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our visit to San Francisco. The location was wonderful for accessing the Wharf and a number of other neighborhoods we wanted to visit, without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Brian was very responsive to the few questions we had during our stay, and his wife and daughter even dropped off some kids reading materials for our boys after meeting us. So nice! I'd highly recommend their place.

Better than home!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely everything, from booking, to arriving, to staying, and to leaving was easy and wonderful! (Okay, well, the leaving part was sad because the stay was so amazing!) Brian was prompt, professional, and courteous in responding to all inquiries and requests.

The flat was clean and spacious as well as warm and inviting. I loved how organized everything was (email including all of the pertinent wifi and stay information, instructions on using the garage).

My husband's favorite thing was that it was a few steps to get to the grocery store, which made it very easy to pick up food. My favorite little gem in the flat were the candles in the fireplace that are on automatic timers to turn on in the evening. It was so home-y and cozy and I will definitely be copying this in my own home.

Brian and his family were delightful to work with and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Being in SF, street parking was very easy; we were always able to park right by the house and didn't even need to use the garage. I love the Marina district, and this flat was within walking distance to Ghirardelli Square, Chestnut Street (restaurants and shopping), the marina, Moscone Park (great playground for the kids) and Fort Mason.

Will definitely stay here again on our next west coast San Francisco adventure!
