Welcome to the beautiful Villa Malaga, the very essence of Andalusian Spain and Santa Barbara. Imagine stepping into the light filled great room, with its polished Spanish tile floors and white washed stone surfaces. Banks of windows in each room overlook the private courtyard, lawn and rose garden. With the windows open (or standing out on one of your 4 decks) you can hear the wonderful bubbling of the grand fountain, day and night.

This luxurious villa has over 2,000 sq ft of living space with 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths with a Queen sized bed in both the Master Suite and the second bedroom, with over-sized bunk bed in the third bedroom. The master bath has a large walk-in shower and an extra deep Jacuzzi tub. There are four levels in the Villa. All bedrooms are on a second level of the house while kitchen and living room are on a third one. All floors are accessible by elevator besides roof deck.

There are three fireplaces, flat screen television, surround sound and internet access. All linens, towels, furniture and artwork are of the highest quality. Villa Malaga is located well off-street and is surrounded by lush landscaping and greenery that obscure other buildings, providing a special sense of privacy and security.

The roof deck, with sweeping views of the American Riviera and glistening Pacific Ocean, provides that extra outdoor living space for fresh-air dining or just relaxing and enjoying the sun and sea breezes. There is an outdoor fireplace on this deck inlaid with a hand painted Spanish mural, a separate fountain and 360 degree views of all that Santa Barbara has to offer.

Villa Malaga is located in Cinque Terre, a stunning building just two blocks from the beach and four blocks from Stearn’s Wharf in the heart of the Water Front District. It is completely gated and has a private garage with a dumb waiter that will whisk your provisions to both the sleeping and living levels.

The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked, featuring custom cabinets, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, 6-burner commercial grade Viking range and an over-sized GE convection/microwave.

Beautiful home in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The owner is very easy to work with and very responsive. We arrived in Santa Barbara by train and conveniently the home is located a few blocks from the train station. It's far enough away from the train tracks however that we did not notice any train noise. The beach, restaurants, bars, wine tasting rooms, harbor, and pier are all within walking distance of the house. However with everything the home offers you may not want to leave the house. Our favorite part of the home was the roof deck which has a fireplace, dining table, couch, and BBQ. Our group consisted of three couples and the home fit all of us comfortably. We can't wait to plan a trip to come back!

Villa Vacation Provided Happy Memories & More

Six of us (plus our baby grand daughter) shared this lovely property for several days as our daughter and girl friend prepared for the wedding of their dear friends E & J. The house was as advertised, close to downtown and the wharf with easy walking to anywhere fun! We appreciated the ability to keep the windows and doors open for beautiful early morning and evening breezes. The master bedroom was just right for our couple with the baby and all the necessities they brought along. Plenty of room for the pack n' play, and oh how they enjoyed the great big soaking tub to play with baby! The parking garage was convenient, and surprisingly, for our other guests with cars, parking on the street was not a problem. A bicycle in the garage came in handy for my son-in-law to ride to pick up breakfast for the gang. Happy to have a good coffee maker, a convenient washer/dryer, and 3 fireplaces - we used them all! The elevator was very helpful, especially with the stroller and the "dumbwaiter" was a smart idea! Thanks for the great place to stay in S.B. Villa Malaga helped provide happy memories for all of us.

Beautiful Villa in a great location, we didn't have a car, so it was easy to walk to state street or the beach, they do provide a few bikes so that worked out well too. The owner was a pleasure to work with as well, I would definitely stay there again.

EXCEEDED all expectations

Our family traveled to Santa Barbara for the wedding of our nephew. Villa Malaga exceeded all of our expectations from location, furnishings, space (both living and sleeping), and views. The description was perfect. It is well-maintained and spotless--more beautiful than the pictures. The space was shared among 7 of us and it was spacious with plenty of room to gather, both inside and out, while offering space for individual quiet time when needed. The gourmet kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the rooftop provided an exquisite setting for dining. Everything was provided. Tatiana graciously and quickly answered my questions via email both before and during out stay. Her check-in and out instructions were easy to follow. We loved the location and walked everywhere. You won't be disappointed if you choose this rental!
