Cute 2 bedroom, 2 bath within walking distance to restaurants, bars, parks
Originally from the Midwest, I now call the quirky and creative city of Portland my home. I may be biased but I think my neighborhood of St Johns is one of the most beautiful places in the city- from the landmark bridge to sweeping Cathedral Park- there is so much to see and do in this little North Portland pocket. I would love for you to come and see for yourself and let me know if you agree! A little bit about me: I work for a local eco-friendly paint company during the day, make handmade ceramics in my spare time, and grow vegetables in our backyard garden when the sun is shining.
Why Oliver chose St. Johns
This space has a great Portland vibe. Cute + cozy "chateau" with custom furniture, original artwork by Portland artists, and handmade ceramic dishware are just a few things that make this space unique. Located within walking distance from a diverse offering of restaurants, bars, shops, and parks and only a short jaunt to University of Portland, make this house your outpost during your stay in PDX!

Lovely home in St. John's neighborhood
This house is a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. The owner is very nice, available to help if needed.
Cozy cottage in Boho St.Johns
Artsy, cozy cottage in a trendy mixed neighborhood. Great location-walk to lots: restaurants, shops, grocery, etc. Wonderful, welcoming and communicative hosts-Oliver and Puji (spelling?)-after a 2 hour traffic snarl on our way back from Mt. Hood-they dropped off a couple bottles of delicious courtesy wine to help realign our mood. A thoughtful and appreciated touch. They have a great little place at a great price, and their presence (though in no way intrusive) enriches the experience. Kudos!
Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Not in the heart of downtown Portland, but a short drive away. An easy walk to Cathedral Park and local restaurants nearby. Very gracious owners who live in the back house. They maintain your privacy but are there for questions or tourist advice. We had a great time staying here.
St. John's Area - Good Experience
Although not in downtown Portland, the St. John's Area was very nice with plenty of restaurants and activities, some within walking distance. It was also very convenient, however, to the downtown area and very convenient to interstates that got us to mountain hiking and to the coast.
The Cozy Cottage was an excellent, comfortable retreat and Oliver could not have been more accommodating. Beds were very comfortable and chairs on the porch were a nice place to sit and have coffee in the morning.
I would highly recommend the Cozy Cottage and will look into staying there again if my travels take me back to Portland.
Cozy and Comfortable
Very comfortable and well appointed home. We enjoyed the stay as well as the quaint neighborhood of St. Johns. The host Oliver was in constant communication with anything needed. Definitely recommended.
Enjoyed hosting you guys and hopefully you get to come back to sample more of the Portland food scene!
Great place to stay
This house is really a great place to stay. It's furnished with lots of artistic touches. The kitchen is large, the living room furniture is comfortable, the bedrooms have comfortable mattresses, there are two rocking chairs on the front porch (we weren't able to use them due to rain, but they were sure cute!). I slept in the bedroom closest to the street and I did not hear any "street" noises. The neighbor is very quiet. I felt safe going for my morning walks. Oliver is knowledgeable of the area and he gave us a few tips on things we wanted to do in the area. I can highly recommend staying here!!!
