Exquisite 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath house located in a private gated community on Ali'i Drive! With only 16 homes in this community, you can expect peace and serenity staying here on your Hawaiian vacation.

Featuring an air-conditioned home with vaulted ceilings and two master suites, each room has access to lanais, and both master bathrooms come with a whirlpool tub to soak into and relax after a long day of exploring the island. The downstairs master suite also features a 32" flat screen television. The chef in your group will appreciate the new kitchen appliances, which include a double oven, a flat top stove, a stainless steel refrigerator, and a stainless steel dishwasher. Then, when it's time to feast, take your pick: around the spacious 6-person dining table, with your mood of choice, set by music coming from the CD/iPod player? Or out on the lanai, surrounded by our warm, tropical trade winds? When it's time for dessert, would you want to sink into soft couches and catch a game or a good movie on the 42' flat screen television, or lounge on the grassy lanai underneath the warm sun? The many luxuries of this home await you, and yet you haven't come all this way simply to be home bound!

Take advantage of the complex amenities: play a game of tennis, or cool off in the lap pool. Take a walk through the botanical garden, and you'll find yourself at the oceanfront of waves greeting boulders of lava rock. Book during the winter and you may even glimpse the majestic humpback whales on their yearly migration. This complex is located on Ali'i Drive, just two miles south of Kailua-Kona's center, where you'll find a variety of restaurants and eateries, a farmer's market, souvenir shops, and more. The Big Island boasts a variety of terrain to keep everyone entertained: tour a coffee farm in South Kona or go ziplining in Kohala's forests, explore volcanoes and lava tubes in Volcano National Park or take a horseback ride at Parker Ranch, which is the largest ranch in Hawaii. Go stargazing atop Mauna Kea, and if it just happened to be the right season, pack some snow into your cooler, and build a snowman on the beach before you jump into the water for a snorkeling adventure!

Our island visit

We enjoyed staying in this small, gated community that provided us with privacy and a convenient location from which to head out on our adventures around the island. Lots of space and terrific responsiveness from the property manager when we had questions. Very easy checking in.

Perfect Rental

We have stayed at this property numerous times and it never disappoints. It is a wonderful location, just a few hundred feet from the ocean and in a new gated community. There is a community pool which is always empty. There is Roku cable in every room, flat screen tv's, loads of room, lanais on both the ground floor and the top floor and even a barbq. What else can I say, a perfect place to stay in Kona. Finally the host, Paul, is great to interact with. He is organized and immediately communicates reference questions. I give this rental the highest rating.

Truly Amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ali'i Point. The house was spacious, clean and extremely well-stocked. From the moment we entered it, it felt like home. Location was terrific as well. Gated comunity offers a lot of privacy in the middle of paradize. Close to beaches and nice restaurants. Highly recommend!
