Property Details

Updated: Sep 21, 2016
Spacious 2 bedroom sleeps 1-4

Mid-century apartment well preserved. Feels like grandma's apartment ''in a cool way''. Two bedroom unit can accommodate 4 with two queen luxurious beds with down alternative pillows, down comforter, and high thread count sheets. Bathroom has artisan applied specialty painting with turkish travertine shower surround and vanity. Kitchen has original red tile and linoleum flooring with newer appliances including the simple basics to cook at home. Dining Room has a touch of formality and a bit of bling with original kitchy chandelier. Living Room has comfortable seating and 42'' flat screen TV. Good closet storage throughout bedrooms and central hallway.

DESIGNATED PARKING with carport and driveway that accommodates 2 vehicles. Parking is highly coveted as the neighborhood becomes more dense.

One of the charms of this property is that it is in a quiet neighborhood for a city location. As much as we want our guests to have a good time, please be aware this is not a party pad. The sofa is not intended to be additional sleeping for guests and additional bedding is not provided.

Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Stone Way bus lines to downtown, etc. Stone Way starts at Lake Union and goes north to Greenlake and quickly becoming a hot new street with restaurants and shopping. Near Gasworks Park, Burke Gilman Trail, Woodland Park Zoo, Fremont, The Troll, 2 miles to Husky stadium and the University of Washington. Business travelers will find convenient to software, internet, and biotech companies located in Fremont and South Lake Union. Also convenient for visitors of the University House retirement community.

About the Owner

My husband grew up visiting his grandmother in this small apartment building. We moved in the one bedroom unit as newlyweds in 1996. Over a decade of managing long term rentals, we decided to furnish two units and offer as short term rentals.

We loved this very clean and tasteful apartment and the quiet neighborhood. The bed and bedding were super comfie and luxurious. The kitchen was well stocked with complete sets of tools. Randy's instructions were clear and not overbearing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect for our needs

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is located in a lovely quiet neighborhood, close to North 45th St., where there are lots of good eateries including 2 excellent ice-cream parlors…Molly Moon's and The Fainting Goat. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is in the apartment and Randi ( the owner ) is very accommodating. We really enjoyed our time exploring Wallingford and Seattle.

Review of Wallingford Property

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at this accommodation was perfect. We have stayed there before. Randy and Teri are so very accommodating. The location is perfect for walking to my son's apartment. It is close to a bus line and we were able to see many attractions in Seattle.

The apartment was clean and spacious. It was exactly as described and how I remembered it. I would definitely recommend this property. It is a gem in Seattle.

Very Nice!

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I were visiting my my son and family and my new granddaughter. We were very pleased with how clean and comfortable this place was. Also nice and quiet. Randy was very helpful in providing information about places to see and restaurants and shopping. Many things are close by and convenient. I plan to stay here again when I return to Seattle for a visit. Dorene

Highly recommend this perfect apartment!

  • 5 of 5

Owners offer a spacious, well-equipped, immaculately clean 1 or 2 bedroom apartment that is conveniently located in Wallingford neighborhood. It's close to public transportation and restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood. We've rented this apartment four times in the past 18 months as our home-away-from-home when we visit Seattle. It's very close to UWashington and near downtown Seattle, so the location is excellent for those regions of Seattle.

Clean, quiet and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with our 2 little girls (2yr & 5 yr). There was a ton of room in the bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. Lots of living space and everything we needed to cook at home. Would stay again!
