Guestbook comments from the owner

We are getting readjusted to our regular life here back in Massachusetts. We had a wonderful time in New Orleans. Great food, music, history, architecture and gardens. We hope we can make it down for another visit someday.

We loved the apartment, location was great and it was a lovely space to hang out at the end of the day.

Romantic Charmer in Nola !!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place to stay !! Can't say enough about the care that has been taken to give you the nicest amenities but keeping the old world charm of this beautiful building. The pictures do not show you how really romantic and lovely it is !! This home is directly on Magazine street in a wonderful part of the Lower Garden District - close to the Warehouse District and The Quarter so shops, restaurants and bars are just a walk away !! We loved having our coffee every morning on the terrace and watching the "Nola flavor" go by !! With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths we will be back next time and bring another couple to stay !! Our host, Julie was amazing with info of the area and always available if needed. We would absolutely recommend this property to all !!! We will be back soon !!!

Charming House is a great Location

  • 5 of 5

Recently visited for a mother/daughter trip. We primarily chose this property for the 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms. There was plenty of room for all four of us. The furnishing are tasteful and the location of the home can't be beat. Its easy to walk to many of the restaurants and shops on Magazine Street and close to the Warehouse District. We rented a car and there was always free parking right in front of the home.

Great location, clean & bright apartment, comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We had an excellent stay and Jules was excellent! She sent lots of info and responded very quickly everytime we had a question. The apartment was very comfortable for the three of us (my senior parents and I). My mom and l loved playing cards on the balcony at night. The neighborhood is excellent and my parents really enjoyed the coffee shop down the street. Would absolutely book another stay!

Sophisticated style, convenient, great host

  • 4 of 5

Beautifully designed space. Extremely responsive and pleasant host. Easy walkable neighborhood to garden district restaurants, warehouse district, and the World War II museum. Dog-friendly coffee shop couple minutes away. Clean and fairly well provisioned (could use a new wine opener and knives). Fan noise upstairs was loud and although it didn't bother me, my sister couldn't sleep there. If you are a delicate sleeper you may want to make sure you get the downstairs bedroom. Thanks for giving us such a lovely home base for our stay.

Convenient location, attractive decor, responsive hosts

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is very attractive and comfortable. We came to NOLA for an event at the Convention Center which is a short taxi or shared ride away. We used Lyft many times and never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. On arrival we realized that the layout of the apartment didn't quite work for us due to a disability, but Jules was able and willing to accommodate us on the spot. We had a WONDERFUL TIME, and hope to stay there again.

Perfect Location!

We loved our stay on magazine street! The location was perfect- walking distance to Magazine street shops & St. Charles restaurants. An $8 Lyft/ Uber ride to the French Quarter.

The home was also very clean. We would definitely stay here again.
