Guestbook comments from the owner

We are getting readjusted to our regular life here back in Massachusetts. We had a wonderful time in New Orleans. Great food, music, history, architecture and gardens. We hope we can make it down for another visit someday.

We loved the apartment, location was great and it was a lovely space to hang out at the end of the day.

Romantic Charmer in Nola !!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place to stay !! Can't say enough about the care that has been taken to give you the nicest amenities but keeping the old world charm of this beautiful building. The pictures do not show you how really romantic and lovely it is !! This home is directly on Magazine street in a wonderful part of the Lower Garden District - close to the Warehouse District and The Quarter so shops, restaurants and bars are just a walk away !! We loved having our coffee every morning on the terrace and watching the "Nola flavor" go by !! With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths we will be back next time and bring another couple to stay !! Our host, Julie was amazing with info of the area and always available if needed. We would absolutely recommend this property to all !!! We will be back soon !!!

Wonderful stay in beautiful townhouse

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay. The townhouse is beautifully decorated, well appointed and very clean. This was a great location, too - within walking distance of the Upper Garden District, just a short Lyft ride from the French Quarter, and in a quiet neighborhood. We made some last-minute changes to our reservation, and Jules could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I would love to stay here again on my next visit.

Home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

My mom and I wanted a local experience while visiting and this was perfect. Street car and bus access, several lovely coffee shops close by, a park to relax in, and a bar for a drink. We were able to chat up the neighbors, and enjoy the community. We're so glad we chose this place!

Great location in comfortable surroundings

  • 4 of 5

My husband and daughter and I found the apartment to be a comfortable base for our week in New Orleans. It was very clean and quiet. The weather didn't allow us to use the balcony. We could walk to the Arts district and the French Quarter, and to the streetcar, so we didn't need a car. The apartment inside looked as pictured, but the outside needs some repair. We cooked in quite a bit, so would have preferred to have a cooktop and oven that were easier to use.

Comfortable and Inviting!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was very comfortable and a great vacation stay. It had the true "New Orleans" feel with its balcony and brick walls. The location was safe, convenient and always had parking. We were in walking distance of restaurants, a park and bars. We would definitely stay there again and the owners were always available for any questions or concerns. What more can you ask?

Charming House is a great Location

  • 5 of 5

Recently visited for a mother/daughter trip. We primarily chose this property for the 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms. There was plenty of room for all four of us. The furnishing are tasteful and the location of the home can't be beat. Its easy to walk to many of the restaurants and shops on Magazine Street and close to the Warehouse District. We rented a car and there was always free parking right in front of the home.
