3 bedroom and 2 bathroom ideal for families with small children

Our like new house offers a true mountain retreat. This house is 1450 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The front and back yards are fully landscaped and the back yard includes a 500 sq ft patio – the perfect place to relax and enjoy a Flagstaff summer. The community park is within walking distance and features 4+ acres of grass, a jungle gym, and basketball courts. The community backs the Kaibab National Forest and offers plenty of outdoor activities including biking, hiking, off roading, skiing, sledding, Polar Express and so much more!

Our property features new carpet, new tile, and fresh paint through out. The kitchen has updated high-end appliances including a Bosch dishwasher, GE glass top electric stove and oven, 1200 watt microwave, refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishes including pots and pans, coffee maker, and seating for 6. The living room has a love seat, sofa sleeper, and a 60” LED LCD flat panel tv with Dish Network. The master bedroom has a pillow top king bed with dresser, night stand, and walk in closet. The 2nd bedroom is perfect for kids with 2 twin beds, a night stand, and closet. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, night stands, a dresser, and a closet. Both bathrooms are full baths with bathtub/shower combinations. We will provide enough linens for each guest to have 1 towel and 1 wash cloth.

The house is baby or toddler friendly with a high chair, pack-and-play, stroller, 2 baby gates, electrical safety plugs, and safety door locks. We have small children and have stayed at many vacation rentals and know how difficult it can be to travel with them.

Very Enjoyable and Well Situated

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at this property and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The house was very clean and well kept and there were no issues. The location of the property is very nice because it is just outside of Flagstaff, far enough away to be a bit isolated from the hustle-bustle of the town (yes it is a small town but in nice weather there is a lot going on) but close enough to provide convenient access to any of the nearby attractions. I would recommend this property to anybody considering a visit to the area. While in the area we visited the Flagstaff Arboretum, Sunset Crater, and Thorpe and Wheeler parks. We also spent time shopping/dining in the historic district.

Comfortable accommodations and convienent location.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at your Ice Cave Drive property. The accommodations were comfortable with all the comforts of home except for air conditioning. Fortunately we spent our time traveling and sightseeing during the hottest part of the day and the house cooled off ok for sleeping after sunset by opening the windows. Not having seating for 6 at the eat-in kitchen was also small inconvenience but we managed by using the 2 bar stools at the counter. Overall we were satisfied with the cleanliness and well maintained property. We enjoyed 3 partial days at the Grand Canyon and 2 partial days at Sedona and Slide Rock State Park. Two improvements would be central air and seating for 6 at the main table. Thanks for making your clean and comfortable home available to us during our summer vacation!

Great place for us!

  • 4 of 5

We were in Flagstaff to celebrate Christmas in July with 15 people including 4 of my wife's sisters. The ranch style house was perfect for our 80 year old aunt who tries to avoid stairs. The patio combined with the dining area worked well as we hosted dinner for the whole group here for 5 of the 6 nights. The house came with many of the little things (e.g. spices, aluminum foil, detergent, etc) so all we had to buy was what we wanted to eat and drink. The internet connection was a little frustrating at times, but that was about the only drawback. The two garage door openers, made coming and going very convenient.

Beautiful and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The house was immaculate and stocked with a lot of little things that you might have forgotten, like foil and Ziplock bags. We had a few glitchy Internet evenings but otherwise it was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Comfortable and exactly as described

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 including 3 teenagers travels and stays in VRBO rentals often. This home is particularly well appointed for families traveling a distance. The home had everything we needed as soon as we arrived. I did not have to run out to Walmart for anything except our food. There are multiple grocery stores about 15 minutes away. While our children are grown, this home would be particularly good for families with young children. There is a nice fenced in yard for children to play. The location is convenient to many National parks and monuments. We traveled to Grand Canyon national park in an easy 45 minute drive. The home is a 10 minute drive from Flagstaff where you can find many nice stores and restaurants. The home was clean and the kitchen had enough supplies to cook basic meals. Linens, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, paper products, seasonings, and cleaning supplies were all readily available and good quality. There were also child sized cups, utensils and the like available in the kitchen. In the fenced in yard there was a nice patio, patio furniture, and gas grill. It was too chilly during our stay to use, but it appeared in good condition. The neighborhood is located directly off the highway which can be convenient for travel, but we also found the home to be quiet and pleasant. We liked Beaver Street Brewery in Flagstaff for family friendly dinner and ended up eating there twice.
