Why Emily Gallo chose Santa Barbara County

With retirement looming, we wanted to be able to spend some of the year in a beach town and searched the California coast. When we found Carpinteria three years ago, we knew we had found the perfect place. We wanted a quiet complex at the beach and easy walking distance to town. We have friends and family in southern California and we wanted to be able to take the train to visit them and to take advantage of all the region has to offer without having to drive.

What makes this condo unique

After two years of looking for a place to buy, we fell in love with this condo. It is the only unit in the building that has a full bedroom as well as a loft bedroom. Since we stay here several weeks a year ourselves, the condo is a home, not just a rental property. We want our guests to feel the same way.

very comfortable

My husband and I stayed here for the month of March this year. We were very comfortable in this well-organized, well-provisioned condo. I walked to the salt marsh in one direction and to the bluffs in the other and of course, it is an easy walk to the beach.

Perfect Place, Great Location!

We stayed at this well laid out and well provisioned condo while visiting our daughter and her family (whose home is California small). The location is great, within walking distance of nearly everything you need including beach, restaurants and shopping. We didn't bother renting a car as the only times we needed to go further afield, we were with them. We had been concerned about the RR tracks being close, but the train was only heard during civilized hours, and only a couple of times a day at that. The King bed was very comfortable, the landlady was very available and helpful when needed, and the deposit was returned in full and promptly. In short, we definitely plan to make this condo our regular stop when visiting the kids! So please don't rent when we need it.

Carp Condo

Me, my husband, and our 3 year old daughter had a wonderful vacation at Emily's condo. The location is perfect. We walked to the beach headed to the park daily. The king bed is very comfortable and spacious and was plenty of room for the 3 of us. There is also a pull out bed in the loft next to the bedroom if you need more room. It is a very short drive to Santa Barbara. Carpinteria is a perfect place to relax. There are great restaurants and was not very crowded when we visited in October. I highly recommend her place!

Really enjoyed my stay at the Sand Piper. Close to the beach and lots of good restaurants. I would certainly stay again. Everything just as advertised!!!

Modern condo with amazing location

Loved this place from the moment I arrived. Literally a block from the beach and the main park. We walked everywhere including lunches and dinners in town. We spent the last night in as a family cooking and watching movies. Super comfy. Every amenity available ( great shower, wifi, fully stocked kitchen, Netflix, cable, comfy couches , electric ceiling fans ). You will not be disappointed the location is wonderful! Plus the loft creates a second room area for kids. We loved it!

Absolutely worth it!

This property is exactly as described. It's the perfect location and Emily was easy to communicate with. Everything is within walking distance. The beach is quiet. The only thing I would add if your not familiar with Santa Barbara county they went green. Emily provides you with bags because when you go shopping you will need to bring your own bags. My family and I would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed.
