Cozy Cabin for a Perfect Get Away
We had a great long weekend at this charming little cabin. The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils and cookware that we needed. I really enjoyed preparing breakfasts and dinners in that space. The caretaker, Ernie, brought us a dozen fresh eggs from his own chickens that were absolutely delicious. I really can't remember the last time we had eggs that tasted that good. The sofa and chair in the living room were very comfortable and perfect for napping. The bedroom and full bath upstairs were spacious and very well done. The property is very convenient to New River Trail State Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We found everything that we needed. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and we can't wait to come back again.
Christen, please do come back. Ernie loves his chickens and fresh eggs are wonderful.

Relaxing weekend getaway
Great property. Loved the soothing sounds of the creek.
Loved the cabin!
Had a wonderful stay in an historic cabin. Everything was perfect! Very well appointed. The bed was so comfortable as was the reclining leather sofa. Lots of thought went into providing everything needed for a great stay and we will definitely be scheduling future stays!!
We booked the cabin based on reviews. The reviews were exactly right. It's perfect in every way. We had an amazing getaway for the Hubs and myself. The cabin and privacy exceeded our expectations. We were close enough to the New River Trail for cycling but still private and romantic. The cabin is beautiful. While keeping its character it still provided modern amenities and great bedding and luxurious towels. We will be back. The complimentary bottle of wine was wonderful. It encouraged us to go by the winery on our way home. We are already making plans to come back to the cabin soon. Everything we needed was provided. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!
Debra, Thank you for your wonderful review. Please come back as soon as you can. The Cabin is great during all seasons. Even if it is raining the sound of rain on a tin roof is magical.
