About the Owner

We are a military family with two young boys living in Alexandria, VA. My wife is from Kingsport, TN and we have always enjoyed visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Since we spend so much time in the area we decided to purchase a cabin we could enjoy and share with others.

Beautiful cabin and very well supplied and furnished.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and very well supplied for our three day weekend. The kitchen is fully appointed with new state of the art LG appliances. It is very well designed and spacious with a master suite and two ensuite bedrooms upstairs for privacy and when one needs to escape togetherness for a bit. It is very quiet as it is somewhat isolated which adds to its charm - no noise. My son arrived early and we were out of cell phone range. Mike Gill is a gracious host and gave him the codes to get in over the telephone. The directions to the cabin were spot on. We enjoyed the cabin and the chance for a relaxed family gathering. We would most definitely come back. Five stars.

Secluded cabin in the mountains between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge

  • 4 of 5

Cabin is very secluded in the mountains between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Pictures and description of the cabin was accurate.

We visited this Cain with another family, we had plenty of room within the cabin, we played pool, darts and sat in the hot tub. We also used the grill outside to cook two diners, other nights we use the kitchen. Kitchen table was large and accommodated everyone (8 people). We weren't able to use the fire pit because of the rain we had on the nights we wanted to but that is another nice feature of this cabin.

This cabin is about 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and is down a gravel road. This is perfect for families that want to get away and enjoy the the scenery and quite of the mountains. The only sounds you hear is the sounds of nature; you won't here any cars or other sounds here. I would recommend this cabin for large families or groups of family's and wouldn't let the distance from downtown distract you the drives are quite nice and isn't that bad. I enjoy the drive up and down the mountain and consider it part of the enjoyment and relaxing in the mountains.

Beautiful cabin, convenient location!

  • 5 of 5

This property is beautiful and situated 25 minutes from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We spent a long weekend here for a bachelorette party. The cabin has a well appointed kitchen and plenty of nice indoor and outdoor furniture. We had a wonderful stay, I hope to come back for another vacation!

Perfect for our family!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time while staying at the "Private Paradise". The cabin felt like home and with all the amenities provided, it was easy to wind-down from our day’s adventures either upstairs in the game room or downstairs in the family area. The location was ideal whether going into Pigeon Forge or into Gatlinburg. We saw an abundance of wildlife both from the cabin and during our travels. We all had a fabulous time. We could have stayed busy for weeks taking in “all” of the sites, there are plenty of local artisans such as the Sandman’s Workshop and The Old Mill Restaurant, just to name a few. The Great Smokey Mountain National Park was fantastic! The process was easy and effortless from beginning to end. We highly recommend this cabin and we would most definitely do it again! Thank you!

Very comfortable, quiet, spacious cabin.

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in Private Paradise was very comfortable and quiet. The cabin is spacious and very accommodating with plenty of linens and everyday items, such as kitchen utensils and a few spices. We loved the clean hot tub, comfortable beds, and bathrooms off every bedroom. Wifi would have made it perfect, but it was definitely nice to unplug for the week, too. We split our time between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, as the cabin is right in the middle of the two. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay in Private Paradise in the future. The owner of the cabin answered any and all questions I had very efficiently. Perfect family vacation!

After looking in the areas around Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge this was one of the few cabins that was conveniently located but offered the privacy we were looking for. We hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we have this last year.

From the Owner

The cabin was built in 2006 and we just finished completely rennovating the cabin inside and out. The exterior has been stained and everything inside has been replaced. All the beds, furniture and most of the appliances are brand new and of the highest quality. Because the cabin is located on a dead end gravel drive you won't have to worry about traffic or noise. You can wake up every morning to the relaxing sounds of nature. You also see plenty of wildlife in the area.
