About Sunny Shaffer
I am a former Army Bomb squad officer, who has been in Colorado Springs since January 2016. A West Point graduate and current project manager, I have quickly gained inside knowledge of the Colorado Springs area. This is due mainly to my business partners (Co-Hosts) who are both Colorado Springs natives. I have a passion for the area which I love to share with my guests. Whether it be through recommending things to do, leading hikes and mountain ascents, or recommending great restaurants and breweries. I truly consider hosting more of a personal pleasure than a business pursuit. My other hobbies are brewing beer (I won Gold at the Denver International Beer Competition), SCUBA (there is almost none in Colorado... sorry), Snowboarding, and mountaineering. So if you are coming to the Colorado Springs area please feel free to ask me any questions, whether you book with me or my affiliates.

super clean and quiet
the apartment was very clean, close to amenities. Property manager was responsive to text emails. The folks upstairs had a young infant that you could hear on and off, which was not an issue for me at all. Just super quiet place.
Perfect place for the price
Great little place. Very clean and comfortable. The sleep number bed was fantastic. Was very close to everything we wanted to go and sight see.
Fun in Colorado Springs
Accommodations were nice and clean. It was located very near most everything but not in walking distance. That was not a problem. It was located on a lower level and did suffer from the noise of people on the upper floor walking. We were very satisfied with everything overall.
We stayed in the lower portion of the duplex. Our upstairs neighbors were very loud during "quiet hours." We could hear everything from them (walking, talking, etc), it sounded like they were moving furniture all night long. It was a nice place to stay if you didn't have to be in the house very long. We may have had a better stay if we did not have neighbors on the top floor.
Place was super clean and cozy. Very conveniently located to both downtown springs and Manitou. Would stay there again in the future.
Thanks for the stay
Enjoyed our time at this home.
